I was second in line at the self-check check out at Target. Fat Karen (FK) was ahead of me. She wasn't wearing a mask, because of course she wasn't. After five minutes, I noticed there was a cash only machine directly in front of us. It had a big sign that said "CASH ONLY," FK couldn't have missed it. Since I was paying in cash, I walked past her and starting scanning my items.

FK: "Why did you cut in front of me?!?"

Me: "Oh I'm sorry, go ahead. I didn't think you were paying in cash."

Me: *Walks back behind her*

FK: "No go ahead. I just don't know why you would cut in front of me."

Me: "Are you paying in cash?"

FK: *Silence*

Me: "Are you paying in cash?"

FK: "Yes."

Me: "Okay, I'm sorry. Go ahead."

FK: "No forget it. Just go."

Me: "Okay, thanks Karen."

Me: *Walks back to machine*

Employee: "I'm sorry about that."

Me: *shrugs and shakes head*

I was going to say something to her when I was leaving, but she was on her phone, so I just tossed my receipt in her trash bin.

In retrospect, I really wish I had called her out on her bull shit and insisted that she use the cash only register and then stepped ahead of her to wait for the next cash or card one.

Simply because I don't display any symptoms. I don't buy into this "hurr durr you may have it and not know it!" as if I did I could believe I have every virus and disease known to man without any evidence to suggest I have. I don't do "what if?" as that's pointless.

As already said masks are mainly to stop you spreading a virus you have. IF I ever displayed symptoms than naturally I'd wear a mask. Although chances are I wouldn't even leave the house in that case.



I also see no reason to actually wear one so I don't. Most actually don't in my city at least probably for the same reason. Sure it can't hurt wearing one but It's not a must for me at this point and again at most I'd just wear what I posted if I wanted to be a worry wart. Those might not be as effective but would be better than nothing I suppose.

You must have performed poorly in science classes.

I think the mask main function is actually for keeping the person who's wearing the mask from spreading it. It would be pretty hard without test to know if you were sick or not, so he could be sick and spreading it. But if he isn't sick, it's probably not too bad to not wearing the mask. It would still be safer, but...

It's recommended that you wear a mask around other people even if you aren't sick.

The Kingdom of the Little People is a theme park near Kunming, China that features comic performances by people with dwarfism. Supporters of the park claim that it provides employment to people who would otherwise be unable to find work, but it has been criticized for treating dwarfism as a humorous condition.

As of 2010, there were over 100 employees whose ages ranged from 19 to 48. The park requires employees to be less than 51 inches (130 cm) tall. The employees live in nearby dormitories which were specifically constructed to be accessible to short people. During the performances, the actors pretend to live in small mushroom shaped houses.

The park was founded in September 2009 by Chen Mingjing, a wealthy real estate investor, as part of a complex he owns near Dian Lake in the western suburbs of Kunming that also includes the World Butterfly Ecological Park (). Although many visitors to the park are students from nearby towns, Chen hopes to make the park a destination for tourists visiting China. He provides English lessons for his employees to help them interact with foreign tourists. He aims to eventually employ 1,000 people with dwarfism.

The performers sing, dance, and perform onstage for visiting tourists. They often act out Qigong, scenes from fairy tales, or ballets such as Swan Lake. They also occasionally perform hip-hop dances. The performances often feature a "Dwarf King. The king, who is only 1 metre (3.3 ft) tall, often wears a gold silk cape and rides a three-wheeled motorcycle during performances.

One of my problems with female artists is that the music industry seems to skew female music representation towards genres/styles I don't care much for. This isn't always the case though, of course.

Also, I like it when singers have... unusual? voices, and a lot of female singers are kinda... samey. I like Alanis Morissette, and Stevie Nicks, and Eartha Kitt, etc...
