| MegaTech 02/01/24 10:20:25 AM #5 | I.T Specialist, specifically web. I work with SharePoint, Qualtrics, and both internal and external websites. I worked as a contractor for 8 years at one agency and it helped me build a network and gain federal experience. I then applied to a bunch of positions at different agencies. I started as a fed last June at one agency and then left after 3 months for a position at the agency I contracted at. I took what could get me in the door so i could have an easier time transitioning to the agency i wanted to really be at. Getting a position without coming from military, having a disability, or currently/previously holding a federal position is pretty difficult for most since applicants with those will automatically be bumped up.
