It's usually a good measure of town vs scum. Scum is scared of saying something wrong and getting caught slipping so they tend to post very little when compared to town members who want people talking as much as possible for the same reason, to catch scum slipping.

Yeah if you read back I scanned him because I thought his play was decidedly anti-town. He scanned clean though which was surprising and a big reason why Godfather has been being brought up as a possibility.

The main reason I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt on this scan is Scare is also kind of a Godfather assuming he targets town every night with his power.

I guess I should get this down in case I do indeed get murdered by my friends in 40 minutes.

Watch Mzero. I could easily see him being scum, he didn't state Red's flavour until Red brought it up himself, same with Scare yesterday, he's played it coy and in a way where he could easily be bs'ing his power. If he claims to catch someone with a flavour scan that doesn't match their claimed flavour, it could easily be him trying to finish the game up since it will be 3-2 so be steadfast. I'm still not convinced about town having all this scanning power.

I'm assuming Tidus is his teammate but it could be Isquen with the Godfather role or Red and Mzero scanned him to make them both look good but I see that as a less likely scenario. Alternatively it could just be a simple Red/Tidus team. If nothing related to tempering comes out by tomorrow's day, Red might need to be the lynch.

Honestly, I'm really not sure on this game and I'm really hoping the powers that go off tonight clear things up a little more.

At any rate, please lynch Tidus because I like winning and I'm sure the rest of the town does too. If I get mislynched I see scum sitting on a very inactive game and allowing town to eat itself from the inside tomorrow.

To be fair, I could easily see that as town just quickly stating a thought without thinking about it. The real question is whether your power is town or scum. I admit, I am curious.

If you made a chart of activity in this game, you and I would be right at the top and Tidus would be near the bottom and you know it. Pointing out my hyperbole doesn't change that.

I guess I misremembered. My bad. I dunno what more I can say to defend myself though. It comes down to who you want with you tomorrow. Likely scum Tidus who posts 5 times a day and says and does very little, or town friendly me who has driven activity alongside you since day 1.

If you are indeed town which has been my read since day 1, the choice seems quite obvious.

I mean, that's just WIFOM. But if I haven't lied about literally anything else I've said this game, why would I start now? That'd be some next level manipulation and while I appreciate that you think so highly of my mafia play, occam's razor tells us the most logical conclusion is almost always correct. Logically, I'm just trying to help us win. Let's keep in mind that I was one of the first people on Scare yesterday too and I never once tried to change that lynch.

All I know for certain at this juncture is if you kill me you'll be going into a 3-2 day and I really don't like our odds if that happens.

If we lose because people decide to lynch TWO town BPs in one game (Especially when I clearly haven't lied about literally anything) I'm gonna scream. If I were faking cop scans, faking BP, faking third party, this whole time my whole web of lies would have come crashing down a long time ago.

Again, there's a reason I think you chose not to scan me to confirm my role, and I think it's because you're scum. Scum obviously wants to get rid of a BP Scanner.

Raiding now. Tidus hasn't given any good reason to get off him so I'm staying on him. I'll peek in between pulls but don't expect much of note from me now.

??? No motive? I literally can't win the game unless town wins. Have you seen my play since day 1? I pretty clearly am on town's side.

I'm obviously not SK, I can't be survivor (unless you think I had to target ulti for a 1v1, beat him, AND live until the end of the game to win, which LOL), so what is left? Either I'm telling the truth or I'm scum. (Or I guess I'm some weird unique third party that wants mafia to win and gets to outright force a 1v1 lynch every night until I find the WoL or die, which is also laughable)

If you think I've been mafia this whole time I would like to thank you for the compliment because it means I convinced town to lynch town BP over a mafia member.

Unfortunately I'm not that good and the fact is I've been telling the truth the whole time.

And I see Tidus came in while I was asleep, said not very much and countervoted me. Shocking turn of events. My vote stays where it is.

Also Murphy's Law states I'm absolutely going to get a guilty scan tonight and it's gonna suuuuck trying to convince y'all I'm still not lying.

About to head to bed, but right now I'm thinking Tidus + Mzero/Red is my scum pair of choice. Mzero/Red because I want to see how the next couple flips as well as the night's actions go.

Also good to know Tidus is paying attention at least. Unfortunately he could just as easily be town or scum paying attention. The way he has moved on and off votes at a whim all game strikes me, often with no comment attached.

I'm not sure if he's town who just doesn't know what to do with himself, or scum following the lead of his team. I'm leaning scum at this point, mainly because Crescent/Plum are at the bottom of my list, Mzero and Red will resolve themselves a little more after another night of actions, and Isquen has an Inno scan and I'm not ready to jump into the Godfather pit after Scare already flipped a Godfather'ish role.

Explain why we shouldn't lynch you today, Tidus. Tell us what you think about everyone.

I'll be honest, after that exchange I was actually a little scared he would flip town. It was more than I'd seen from him all game. If he pushed like that the whole day instead of just at the end he very well may have convinced me to move.

I mean, it's possible I guess but it's a hell of a gambit for me to bus the shit out of one team member to scan another one innocent when we all know if I get lynched (which, I'm 3rd party, I don't expect to last to the end of the game) and flip scum, Isquen immediately becomes public enemy #1.

Scare was doing nothing and had hammered the day before. It's not impossible that the plan was for Mzero to bus him to look great but you're right, I just read back through Mzero's day 3 and I'm not ready to jump into that conspiracy just yet. I am also curious to see what Mzero does tonight so I'll give it another day and we'll see where we land tomorrow.

Even when you give an opinion I feel like you hedge every single time with a "it's this or the complete opposite" type of comment to make sure you leave your options open and I think it's late enough in the game now where you should have a little conviction in your choices.

What's your reasoning for Plum being at the bottom of your sus list, Tidus? He hasn't claimed anything but Roleblocked multiple nights and hasn't really done anything worth noting. I need to read back on him myself tbh but maybe you can save me some time and explain why he's so townie to you.

Hey Tidus, you say one of Mzero and I are scum along with "probably Red or Isquen" yet your vote is on Isquen which makes it seem like you think he's the most likely scum. Is he the person you think is most likely to be scum right now, then?

IF you're town, you're right. I just don't think you're town. Also I dunno what kinda narrative you're trying to spin but I absolutely did not force town to lynch the BP. I spent the first half of the day accepting my death and only changed my mind when Red or Plum (I forget which) told me I was playing to lose, which was true.

I didn't KNOW Ulti was Town BP, I only knew he was WoL. Everyone chose to lynch Ulti over me, it wasn't what I expected to happen by any means, but I'm making the most of it. I confirmed Town Chris before he got shot, I confirmed Isquen town today (barring Godfather shenanigans), and if they don't block me today, we know I'll have another scan coming tomorrow.

I'm not saying we have to lynch you today because I'm curious what you do when you're forced to "scan" someone again tonight, but from where I'm sitting, all the evidence points to you lying.

That's absolutely not what I'm trying to figure out.

Follow my logic: I know I am a Bulletproof Scanner hoping to help town win. Mzero comes in today, doesn't claim a scan but forces a claim from Red. Mzero starts getting some pressure and after a while "comes clean" saying he has a scan as well and that he scanned a dead guy and Red (and not me for the reason given of "you already claimed third party") which makes very little sense considering I still claimed third party and half the game has been twitching with distrust that I've been lying about my flavour the whole time.

All he's done since then is the easiest play available. Countervoting me and saying I'm "talking like scum". This despite the fact that I've given very clear logic for every thought I've had.

Basically though, if he's legit, this means town has two scanners with protection attached (and Chris who ALSO had a scan role). I don't believe Mzero can be town here, just seems like too damn much from this side of things.

Also, sorry for these slow responses. I'm typing this between raid wipes.

What's up Tidus? Think we're both scum somehow? Explain your thoughts if you please.

Granted, it's obviously been a long time since I've played mafia, but are commuters usually one time use regardless of alignment?

My logic is this: If it's one time use, he's probably scum scared of revealing that info. If it's multi use, he's basically confirmed town and scum can't risk shooting him because he could just commute during the night and ruin the night kill for scum. This is the case whether he reveals the info or not, so again, what is the benefit to not telling us?

Yeah, depending on what that info was I was very down to find some scum together. Unfortunately, you claimed to have no info, then changed it to having a flavour scan that was never mentioned until people started looking at you funny. And "wasting" a scan by confirming the third party isn't lying through his teeth doesn't sound like a waste to me.

Also Plum, you can just no lynch in that circumstance, right? For all we know it's a one use commute which would make tons of sense if he's on the scum side of things.

Also in what universe does a flavour scanner not scan the claimed third party bulletproof cop to prove whether I'm bs'ing y'all or not? Especially when half the game has been coming in with conspiracy theories of me being Zenos as an SK, Zenos as a cult leader, Zenos as a chef of a fancy restaurant...

Seems like an easy way to prove I'm on town's side (at least come as close as we can get to proving it) yet two nights in a row you decided to go after other people. Why?

I don't buy Mzero having the ability to both dodge kills during the night AND have a multiple use flavour scan. Not when combined with my Bulletproof + Scan. One of us has to be anti-town and I know I'm not sooooo...

Yeah the only way I saw Plum as scum is if Chris was scum with him. When Chris flipped I became confident Plum is one of the good guys.

At the moment I'm thinking Tidus/Mzero/Isquen has to hold our two remaining scum. I have the inno scan on Isquen so I'm willing to leave him alone for now (but I'm really eyeing the Godfather possibility) just not sure who I want to go after first.

Mzero coming in hot on Red for seemingly no reason confused me when it was all said and done. I really thought he was gonna drop some kinda info bomb on us or something. Tidus is just coasting as a clueless newbie still at this point and I'm not sure I'm down to let that keep happening for much longer.

His vanilla claim actually helps his cause to me though because as far as I can tell he's the only other person claiming vanilla and two vanilla seems about right for this crazy game.

Crescent I just really can't see being scum. Her play has seemed very town and if she is scum well shit she's just better than me I guess. I probably won't be looking at her until we hit an endgame situation.

Although I suppose reading back he never outright claimed he saw Red visit him. Just instantly posted requesting a claim. I guess I just assumed he had SOMETHING on him. Got my hopes up for a little more than what we got.

It wouldn't have mattered. Isquen could've claimed to see you get targeted, and there would've been no way to confirm whether or not he RBed you himself. If I had to guess, scum didn't block you because scum didn't want to.

And I just now noticed from your post that Isquen pulled back his claim, which means all his claim did was draw an unblocked scan from you and now it no longer exists.

Because with all the info that was given including me straight up saying i dont mind being lynched, the town decided to trust me over Ulti. I felt like, after that, my scan, and the Scare lynch, I'd be provided with some modicum of trust but it only seems to have left further doubt in everyone's minds. Frustrating but not unbelievable, I guess, it is Mafia.

Ulti hasn't said a word since right after his lynch, I've sent 5 messages asking him to come back and he hasn't responded to a single one.

If yall want to lynch me for that I don't really know what to say, **** me for helping to get a vengeful man lynched I guess. But don't act like you can't see him doing this exact thing to screw us over out of spite.

As I've said the whole time, I'll let you know the moment this changes.
