People always post stuff like this when protests come up. The point of a protest is to be heard, and inspire others to have their voices heard also. If enough people protest the same thing, it puts pressure on the government/school to make changes. It's getting media coverage, so at least the first part is met.

You might as well say "Why are these anti-war protestors gathering? Holding up a sign isn't going to change the government's stance on Vietnam!"

People who can't accomplish any thing of value think making new humans is an accomplishment. Imagine your life's work is being a deadbeat dad to kids you don't know or care about.

Toss up between eating enemies and spitting fire. Eating enemies is obviously useful as heck. Spitting fire can be great, but typically isn't available often enough to be a game changer. I bet a Mario Maker level designed around that could be pretty neat.

I actually don't like the flutter jump, though the only game I've experienced it in is Odyssey.

I can't bring myself to watch Squid Game. If I wanted to see the rich get their jollies by making the common folk kill each other for the financial equivalent of table scraps, I'd just go outside.

If it helps, they only show the rich assholes in the last few episodes, and not a whole bunch even then.

The brothers side plot was so pointless and the reveal was laughable

Yeah, that really did feel pointless. Some people think the cop (sorry I can't remember any one's names) is still alive, and maybe season 2 will give this plot line some payoff.

Also I didn't really like the bridge game. It had some good moments, but there was 0 skill in it, it was all just luck, and the games coming down to a 1v1 was kind of lame.

It was not quite what I expected, but I see why it was popular. Good drama, good characters and some seriously brutal moments. That fucking marble game, holy shit. I watched it subbed, but apparently it's available dubbed also? I don't know which is superior.

I had a feeling there was some thing going on with Player 1, and when they didn't show him die I thought "I bet he created the Squid Games." It's easy enough to guess. Old person with very little background, and an off-screen death? Definitely a major player. I saw a Youtube video that went over some hints about it, some pretty obvious but a few harder to spot (like the player profile book starting on Number 2).

Anyway good stuff, can't wait for season 2!
