That's approaching the level of the Navy SEAL copypasta. Anyway, before it became a full show, it was "what if Dr. Emmett L Brown molested Marty McFly? LOL pederasty is funny!"
That got dialed way back, because the progressives still hadn't managed to convince the public that pedophilia was something to be embraced. It should be embraced, by car crusher. But anyway, the show was okay for the first season, but became more and more obnoxious as its popularity increased. Now it's a fedora-lord level joke.

People laughably believe the NRA is powerful. Perhaps a long, long time ago, but all they're interested in now is collecting more membership fees and slicing up the Second Amendment like a Christmas ham. As ever, and as stated before in this thread, this is a distraction. You're not allowed to point out that most crimes with guns are committed with your basic pistol, that the only practical difference between a deer rifle and a "sniper rifle" is the quality of the scope on it, and you're most definitely not allowed to see precisely who is committing all of the crimes. That would be racist.

People who signal at the same time they initiate their turn.
People who don't signal before preparing to turn off of a two-lane road with no passing.
People who use their phone while driving in populated areas.
People who don't turn on their headlights while it's raining/snowing.
People who spike the brakes right at a stop sign or light instead of slowly braking to a stop.
People who try to merge lanes at the last moment after ignoring the flashing constructions signs and arrow lights a mile down the road.
People who pass trucks, and merge back into the original lane about five damn feet in front of the truck.
People who don't make way for merging traffic when approaching on-ramps.

I've got permanent injury to multiple discs in my neck due to a woman thinking it was a good idea to fly out of a parking lot at 40Mph, cutting through traffic, and into the side of my car. I learned that handbrake techniques learned in games do indeed apply to real life, when I used the handbrake to turn my car sideways on a 4 lane, high traffic street, because some idiot thought it would be okay to just pull out of a parking lot into traffic because he had a big truck.

I've had enough driving experience over the past 20+ years to know that most driving stereotypes are based on common experiences and fact. Aside from the ones everyone knows, the worst drivers tend to drive (in decreasing order of frequency):
Red trucks
White trucks
Red sedans

If you see a red truck, don't press your luck.

Even with a STEM degree in the midwest, most of the jobs are service jobs with no upward mobility, no raises for any reason, "make just barely enough to keep coming to work" level pay, and will most certainly not teach you any useful skills.
Most factories either move out of state, or completely shut down, and not always even due to executives embezzling everything but the bolts out of the company.

The availability of information is greater than ever before in human history, so that means that anyone with sufficient head-meats can learn skills and sciences that would have been revolutionary a century ago. The problem is, without certifications held by organizations that do not necessarily operate in good faith, like those that certify people in trades such as electrical engineering, plumbing, and architecture withholding certificates to keep the job market from being over-saturated, what you know is ever less important than who you know, or still more importantly, who knows you.
I'd say more, but underlining specific societal ails tends to upset people who have been trained to loathe their own culture, and to fear self-improvement.

Why is it that the majority-Democrat cities, with Democrat mayors, city councils, judges, and police chiefs, are typically crime-plagued hellholes with strong anti-gun legislation to further exacerbate the problem?
Work requirements for welfare keep people from living 100% on the dole. Welfare exists to help people stay on their feet, not stay on their butt.
No matter who is responsible for the increase in jobs that aren't "operate this drill press for 85 days and then go back to waiting for another temp job to be available in your skillset", it's good for everyone. Working service jobs is bad for the soul, as well as the body. Low pay + high stress = early death.
What really screwed everything in the first place was NAFTA, and the lack of tariffs on imports. Funny how when all of the car manufacturers flew the the four corners of the Earth, and the steel plants went under, people stopped being able to afford new houses, cars, and other things that kept entire industries running. How often do you see a freight train anymore? When I was a kid, it was every few hours, every day. Now I see them about once a year, and I live a block from an "active" rail line.

Listen and believe, eh? I prefer "trust, but verify". Disagreeing with the media while providing archived links to your evidence is "harassment" these days. Asking people where the money they paid into crowdfunding campaigns went, is "sexism". Identity politics is a cancer. People are directed to become obsessed with being a label, not with being a person. Who cares what you studied, what skills you learned, what hobbies you have, and what talents you've developed? What's in your head and what's in your heart are irrelevant. All that matters is your sex, your skin color, and who you intend to vote for. You have no purpose in being a human; you are a product for the oligarchy to use and abuse as it sees fit. You are a product for Google to sell to advertisers. You are a product for Twitter and Facebook, to increase their stock value. You are an unpaid voter for those who would keep you begging the state for financial aid, because the miserable jobs available to you won't pay enough to afford you a reliable vehicle, a home of your own, land, or higher education that will net you a career.

Listen. Believe. Don't look behind the curtain. Stop asking questions. Stop thinking so much. Kneel. Beg. Roll over. Play dead.

I task everyone to check the history of events, using accounts from both sides, and the middle. Verify the evidence. Screenshots are easily faked. Look for archive links. Just don't look too hard, or be too vocal with your findings, or you may find yourself being denied employment without explanation. You're not asked to be a preacher, but a researcher. Find the truth for yourself, not the truth of those who are paid to write it.

Zeus and others are correct. To attempt to prevent the loss of their advertising money, and to keep up the pretense of legitimacy, the GameJournoPros (read about that list) agreed to preach to the uninterested masses that everyone who had a complaint about game journalists abusing trust to gain personal benefits, was a basement-dwelling, permavirgin, white, male, misogynerdzi. Then the #notyourshield campaign rolled out to indicate that a great many people of varying sexualities, ethnicities, and other categories, were tired of being propped up as victims by corporations and publications, and that they, too, had a problem with the way game developers, and games journalism were being run. Nobody likes being talked about like they're a defenseless inferior, especially when they're only being treated like one by those who claim to be their protectors. "Be quiet, brown person, for you have the internalized racisms, and I must protect you, because you are incapable of protecting yourself from words on the Internet."
But when you run the publications and have a worldwide reach, as well as the ability to rally the masses against any who speak dissent, it's easy to convince those who won't snoop around for facts on their own that the side with the money is the side of the truth, so we have people do this day who still believe that GamerGate (stupid name) was and is a hate campaign created to hate on women, people who don't ascribe to the binary division of the sexes, and people who aren't northern Irish or something.
Admittedly, it didn't help that a bunch of e-celebs were claiming to be the parade leaders, like every disgruntled player of video games was a soldier in their private army, and throngs of sock puppets and bad actors publicly admitted to stir up discord on both sides of the argument. I would call it a debate, but when one side is calling people nazis and organizing campaigns to de-platform them, it's hardly a debate.
My sister plays video games, and nobody mistreats her. My own mother got me into video games, and while she doesn't play arcade action games anymore, she still plays casual games on the computer I built for her.
