I made a topic about nose hair and it was moderated for "trolling". This just proves that anything can be considered trolling. It's an easily exploitable loophole mechanic and no mod will ever accept a dispute. This is why no new users join this site. Being less reliant on stuff like CGI is a big benefit. Anything with practical effects is gonna get my interest way before stuff with cgi. Nothing with computer effects will ever touch movies like Alien or The Thing.

Also, personally I feel like in the 80s they knew how to take stuff less serious and have more fun. Look at all the action movies of the time. Sure there a fair amount of shitty ones, but at least with those shitty ones you could still have a good time.

Did you ever play The Run?

Yes. The movie is about trying to get to the other side of the county as fast as possible(while avoiding the cops) to win the ultimate prize(getting into the deleon), all while being guided by a woman. That is the same plot as the game.

Did the movie have the main character escaping from a car crusher and out running gangsters? No. Did it have racing down a snowy mountain? Nope. Look i could go on and on about how their not similar in any way.
The game doesn't have the main character in jail like the movie...

The scene where Kang and Sung are about to fight still gives me chills you get the "test your might" while they start posing and the MORTAL KOMBAT kicks in and they start fighting also the best video game movie is Silent Hill.
