Id say theres a lot of both. I personally see more left leaning people, maybe its because I am as well. But they dont always agree with everything other left-leaning people say, or thats how I take it.

I didn't play Remake until Rebirth came out. While I now would really like to play Rebirth, I don't have a PS5, so I'm probably waiting until it's out on PC. I would imagine people who were waiting on all 3 might not have thought the gap between releases would be quite as long as it was, but maybe they did.

When I saw this post on Twitter earlier, someone posted a particular character they felt was likely to be censored, and they didnt look 12. And now later posts ITT seem to be indicating that that age wasnt really accurate? So I guess I have no idea personally, but its worth questioning why Nintendo would let it go, and Sony wouldnt. Sony has history of seeming to be overzealous with censoring or disallowing certain subjects wholesale (so not just SB, if you believe they forced it or not), while Nintendo seems to depend more on their localization teams.

Yeah, I was just listing out some examples. I dont think a reason is needed, but just the fact there could be so many potential reasons in the first place, means theres no reason to find it particularly odd.

I feel like there could be any number of reasons for it. Maybe they were burned in the past, maybe they grew up alone and dont feel comfortable with someone around. Or maybe the opposite, where they grew up with no privacy, and now really value their privacy. I think its fine.

How hard is it to get Elite? Ive still never done it.

From my perspective, the requirements are fairly loose, but on the other hand, I'd been playing somewhat seriously since Smash 4, and I was 'decent'. And a few characters still took me a bit to get used to. In terms of 'fighting games' I'm only okay at Smash, so I don't have a basis for comparison.

Hm, maybe beating Kingdom Hearts at level 1? I was considering getting all characters in Elite Smash in Ult, but I have the sense that fewer people have done the former than the latter.

I don't do super challenging stuff very often.

Haven't been contributing much, so I iterated this a few times until it started to look like a person. I evidently haven't been drawing much, so I've been losing what little touch I had

They expanded and changed some stuff. Some of it felt like outright filler, while other parts were given more time to digest. Ive played through the Midgar part of FF7, and the remake mostly felt fine to play through.

Well I knew enemies could get Lucky 7 Status, but not sure I knew other values could trigger it.

See Neo TWEWY is a weird one, cause the example I most often see is 'cultural appropriation' about Indian food or something, and that doesn't really bother me at all, it's contextually appropriate, and seems more like a wording thing than anything else. I believe there were complaints about Shoko's dialogue, but I didn't look into it.

I never knew people mashed while fishing. I can kinda see how someone could make that mistake, if I think about it. But no, you don't have to.

Well I'm not right wing, but I'm not a fan of some of those on the left. But many of those aren't as egregious as some examples I've seen other times. People keep saying they're less 'dry', but I just feel they don't represent what's being said as accurately. I don't dislike localization as a rule, but to me the point of translation(loc) isn't to rewrite characters to your liking, but to make what's been written in the other language, as readable as possible. I don't think it should be a creative writing exercise, barring examples where it's actually appropriate. I don't mind puns being rewritten, for instance, because those are practically impossible to translate in a way that keeps the double meaning.

For me, I dislike the idea of people saying the ones on the left show more 'character', if that character was made up entirely for the translation. It makes little sense. I'm aware that I'll never see eye to eye on this with everyone, different people have different levels of what they consider acceptable, but I hate that not being a fan of too loose translations means you're lumped in with people you otherwise don't agree with.

I'm the type who prefers to reheat things in the microwave, even if the air fryer would be 'better', just cause it's faster. And I make stuff that has leftovers as well

Cant swim or ride a bike. Didnt go to pools very often, stayed in the shallow end when I did. Never owned a bike.

I recently beat it, and I think I noticed it early on like you did, but either they toned it down later, or I tuned it out.

It seemed to be a class trip to the movie theaters. One student was vacuuming(?) the aisles, while the movie was playing, though it seemed silent. Some other boys started to bully him or something, taking him to the hall outside the theater. They tried to get drugs off of him, all he had was heroin. They decided they wanted it (the heroin was in a marshmallow, which they tore in half). The third bully didnt seem to want it. As soon as they ate it, they freaked out. The two boys who took it, their eyes had dark circles, they had huge pupils, and they started to be stretchy and look distorted.

It seems the marshmallows had been put in bathwater, which caused this reaction. They ran into the theater. Then a lot of the class seemed to be infected with the same symptoms. There were some students with catlike features (ie: cat ears) who didnt seem to have been affected. There were also some students who looked as if they were asleep, perhaps put into a coma in their seats. Presumably the ones without symptoms had previously been experimented on by their professor, early on.

I got into them very late, around 2018-19. Never got into RvB or RWBY. For me it was Achievement Hunter and Let's Play. I hope they keep the YouTube stuff up, but don't have much hope. I like it for background noise while I work.

Worst case, the community has built up an archive, so the content should hopefully never really disappear.
