We have made it to the end of round 1 everyone! After today, we are more than halfway over. Today marks us being at the peak of this contest, and now it's the slide down the mountain! Still, there are many matchups to go, but this gauntlet of a round is coming to a close. Thank you to everyone who has supported this competition through participation, responses, posts, but most of all, VOTES!

As for today, this is the rematch of the two mortal enemies, the classic Cats vs Dogs matchup! It's sure to be a showdown for the ages. I like that Mario enemies don't get reused all the time. One of my favorite elements of 3d games is that they bring a lot of new things to table. They could just have toads everywhere, instead every Mario game gives us new things. Like, Seaside kingdom, it would have been so easy to just plot Sunshine characters and enemies there and call it a day.

I always have been telling people, even Iwata himself said SMB2USA was always what SMB2 was supposed to be. It was the original until it was used for Doki Doki.

It's a shame that people would glorify The Lost Levels when it literally is the NSMB of the old Mario games in terms of bringing very little to the table and really being a cash-grab.

I want to make one for somebody, but I am a little out of realm here. It was going to be designed after a pet of theirs, which is why I was planning on making it. I could always commission someone to make it, but quite frankly, that's pretty expensive.

There are tutorials, but I notice a lot of the stuffed animals are more like sock puppet type animals or they are single-colored. This would be a multi-colored pet, with different colors of fur throughout the body, which is where I feel a little lost on.

I want to make this as a Christmas gift, so I have some time, just wondering if you know of any good tutorials for such a project.
