Too late, already ordered the card

I just rebuilt mine last weekend and got the gtx 1660 super as well (upgraded from a gtx 970), I looked at the 1660 Ti but it was like a $50 difference for maybe a few more FPS

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1660S-Super-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1660-Ti/4056vs4037

Though I consider it more of a stopgap to hold me over for a couple years or so until Nvidia realizes the crypto fad is over and brings their prices back down to earth maybe with the rtx 3000 series cards (not counting on it too much)

If you use your phone for work, then it's more of a 'capital expenditure' that hopefully pays for itself by improving your productivity or having less stress/frustration to not have to deal with something janky while you're trying to get work done.

Pretty obvious he is facing the camera to me. I mean, I can see the other way once it was drawn out to me but it doesnt look right as you cant really swing at an angle against how the seat is hung without it starting to twist and bounce around and this guy looks smooth to me.

I always make my characters with gray eyes if possible since thats my eye color IRL. So, its kind of like the part of me that looks through my characters eyes

Usually black hair but Ive done brown, white and red but almost never blonde (I have brown hair)

home without hitting the office, so if youre not in, youre generally assumed to be in the field.

Though were also asked to put those appointments on our Outlook calendars so theres some accountability of whats going on.

Get boneless ribeye. Preheat oven to 400 - 500.
1. Oil both sides of steak. Make sure the oil has a high smoke temp
2. Season that shit to your liking
3. Preheat a cast iron skillet on high heat to smoke on stove top or grill.
4. Place steak on for two minutes
5. Flip steak, let sit for 2 minutes
6. Put a square of butter onto middle of steak and insert into oven
7. Use thermometer to check for temp. Remove steak when it is 5 degrees below desired temp
8. MOST IMPORTANT STEP remove steak from oven and cover it with something for 5 minutes to let the juices soak in.

Then serve.

Pretty close to how I make my steaks and they turn out great

Though if you're making steaks for multiple guests for Christmas or whatever, maybe look into doing a prime rib roast or something.

That's kind of a superficial perspective. I see money as just a symbolic representation of your economic contribution to society used to exchange for other peoples' contributions.

So...if you look past that and consider "Life is about making and doing things that people need, want, and enjoy, and them doing the same for you" then it doesn't seem so...venal

All of the most livable areas have been converted for use by civilization so anywhere thats still open to doing something like that would be a hard time (that is, theres a reason nobody is living there now)

Also people arent mean to live in isolation. I love being part of a family./user.php?db=.5.user=tribe and contributing to those around me, and would lose a sense of purpose just living for myself

White

Probably the best thing a cop has done for me was when I got in my first car accident (not my fault), they were in an unmarked vehicle a few cars back and were able to step in and make sure everything and everyone was taken care of and redirect traffic, and be a credible witness so there wasnt any dispute over what happened. Nobody was hurt but both vehicles were disabled so they got the towing arranged.

Worst thing was losing $200 because of a speeding ticket (not really a fair one but whatever)

Pitlord_Special
11/30/19 12:23:41 PM

Depends on the game and what I'm looking to get out of it.

If I'm playing a game for the first time, I usually stay on normal difficulty and try to beat it with minimal outside help. If I'm replaying it on max difficulty or something, then I look up guides, strategies, builds etc.

Online games, I usually stay apprised of it but don't always feel it's necessary to play to the max all the time. It's important to me that I feel like I'm pulling my weight on a team (and even better if I'm helping carry them to some extent). I don't hold it against less optimal players and trash them for being 'bad' but feel like it's a fun challenge to me to try and compensate for them.

GPU and CPU are the two that make the most significant difference and hardest to have an idea of how they stack up with one another. I use this site for rough comparisons

Only caveat with the CPU benchmarks is to ignore the Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC results as those are server grade CPUs that score well on the benchmark but arent optimal for gaming

For RAM, generally bigger is better is the order of the day. More capacity and faster speed are the two things to look at. 16 GB is what you want to shoot for here, with RAM speed having only a minor impact on overall performance in many applications.

SSD follow the same rule as RAM

This country's society celebrates a culture of excess in all aspects of life, not just the vehicles we drive. Look at how big new houses are compared to years ago.
