If you're looking for narrative and character development it doesn't have much, but if you wanna fight & climb on (mostly) traditional fantasy RPG monsters then it's super fun. Good variety among the combat classes and they all feel different enough/have enough unique skills to be worth trying out. The pawn system is cool if you're into creating characters and you can hire other people's pawns as well, which grants them RC (currency) and whatever gear/items you decide to give them. It also handles postgame/NG+ really well. --- |

| Quorthon109 01/25/21 1:29:48 AM #347 | I never messed with Alchemy either (except getting that one skill that increases mutagen bonuses after respec'ing way later) but I dabbled with the magic a bit. Increasing the sign intensity means enemies get ingnited more often, so it's a nice option to be able stop enemies in their tracks with either Igni or Axii and then charging up one of those big overhanded heavy attacks rather than just dodging all the time. Parrying is a thing too, though I usually only do that if I'm fighting one or two dudes. --- |
