That sounds neat and probably doable. It's great that you're already doing something with a reasonable scope that you can probably get done. After being in the industry I see way too much people who are starting out taking on projects that are just simply too big (a college kid wanted to something with the scale of Genshin Impact...).

Maybe he was angry about the space program before he actually got to space?

I joined the video game industry in 2021 as a PR manager, but I moved to another company in 2022 and now I'm a project manager, so I'm more involved in the actual development process. My work mostly develops mobile games though we did launch a PC/console title last year and are working on another one.

Gen V kinda pulled ahead as of now but it's a worthy winner.

Excadrill and Krookodile are A-tier Pokemon, Stunfisk is at least somewhat unique, Golurk is decent, Seismitoad is mostly inoffensive, and Landorus...I hate the Forces of Nature trio (or quartet now I guess?).

Well yeah, but back then it was just Mawile (originally Steel only) and Klefki.

Ended up voting for Gen VI, I loved using Aegislash to bits in-game, nearly nobody could deal with King's Shield. Klefki is not my favorite but at least it's got a pretty unique typing and moveset. The Megas are mostly not offensive.

Oh and in a ROM hack I used Eviolite Doublade extensively.

I really like Lamiroir's design but that's about it.

I don't think I'm ready to vote yet. No one gen is really calling to me. Looking forward to hearing more people's thoughts.

As for Phantom... it's so iconic, but it's so grandiose that I can't listen to it too often lol.

I like Gen I and Gen II too but I went with Gen VII in the end. The Alolan Geodude line has unique typing and looks, Lycanroc is awesome, Nihilego is delightfully creepy for sharing a silhouette with Lilly. Minior and Stakatakakatakatakakatatatakataka are just whatever though.

Yes, and specifically we need a contest for most iconic British film character and then tell nobody outside B8 to vote in it.

Mother Knows Best is really a master class in gaslighting. And it's doubly sinister since she's Rapunzel's maternal figure. But yeah the melody IMO is not as iconic as other Disney villain songs.

I love Olga.

I do like Gen I but man...it being the most ubiquitous generation has kinda made me feel they're kinda boring. Nothing really excites me per se, except for maybe Gengar.

Ended up voting for Gen VIII, carried hard by Toxtricity, but G-Slowpoke evos and G-Weezing are also great.

That Metal Gear song sounds pretty cool, didn't expect it to sound like that.

Went with Gen III for Zangoose and Vigoroth mostly. Also not a lot of horrible mons IMHO.

So people can eventually enjoy eating soap, that's handy to know.
