Although, that said, I wouldn't be surprised if the localizers were at least somewhat in the loop and just decided to go with this anyway, not fully realizing the consequences until later (much of which is thanks to AA5 and AA6, the most outright "japanese" games of the series). This was a bit after the days of the 90's where Ted Woolsey was under such an absurd deadline and given so little help/feedback that he couldn't even research the names of Mario enemies properly. (This isn't a knock against Woolsey, I consider him one the godfather of good game localization) I especially love it when they have freakin' rakugo. --- Into the woods, but mind the past... I'm a rather casual fan of the strategy genre, but I find the battles got too easy after the few first chapters. The slice-of-life side stuff is much, much shallower, IMHO, in Three Houses than even Persona 3 but, well, it's decent. Overall, very much recommended. --- Into the woods, but mind the past... I really like the emotional roller coaster there. Skimbleshanks' is also a jam. And watching a video essay about someone about their love of Cats (the 1998 version) made me appreciate Grizabella so much more. --- Into the woods, but mind the past... I discovered some new songs that make it to my playlist (~~Skimbleshanks~~ and ~~Mr. Mistoffelees~~ , namely). The latter even legit made me cry. It's too bad most of the movies feel like nonsense and the creepy characters need some time to get used to. And I don't think I really got used to them fully even by the end. --- Into the woods, but mind the past... Into the woods, but mind the future!

Finally figure out what line of career I want 2. Have a side job in writing, editing, and/or translation 3. Watch a show on Broadway 4. Find a good life partner 5. Finish more of my game backlog 6. Get a book, or at least a short story, published professionally 7. Be involved in more musical theater productions --- Into the woods, but mind the past... Into the woods, but mind the future!

I don't remember the character writing ever get this bad in the previous games.
