After about a week, here it is! Had a great time at the Indonesian Musical Theater Festival (like our own version of Broadwaycon), but next we're visiting the Black Museum. Personally I feel this episode really stood out because it very explicitly ties together several previous episodes. But does it mean it's any good? Let's find out.
The episode is divided into three stories, told by Rolo Haynes (Douglas Hodge), the owner of a remote Black Museum. He tells the visitor Nish (Letitia Wright) about the backstories of exhibits, which involve his previous employment in experimental technologies.

I used to frequent CE before I found B8 and god, it's like 4chan over there.

I guess in something like synchronized swimming or pair skating, end of season would be fairer to see if they can perform more consistently than the competitors.

Cauldron

It was the latest Treehouse of Horror (XXXIII I believe?) and it was pretty good, I love the ending.

Also yes I watched it because of Super Eyepatch Wolf. I am not an American so I didn't grow up with The Simpsons, although I have watched the movie for some reason.

My hot take is that Persona 5 had a weak soundtrack. Like, most of it is fine, but it was being put on a pretty high pedestal upon it's release, and I think it's weaker than 4, and significantly weaker than 3.

Yeah, totally agreed.
IIRC I only nominated this one since the final boss themes from P3/P4 had already been nominated.

Hang the DJ got good results, barely missing the Top 5. Now it's time for doggos! Black, metallic, murderous doggos. And in black and white for some reason!
"Metalhead" is filmed in black and white, and it follows the plight of Bella (Maxine Peake) trying to flee from robotic "dogs" after the unexplained collapse of human society. The dogs were influenced by Boston Dynamics' robots such as BigDog.

Congrats to Crocodile for breaking a record for most 1 ratings with 3 users rating it at 1, breaking the previous record held by The National Anthem at 2. Despite this impressive showing, B8 likes it enough that it's still ranked above The Waldo Moment. Anyway, a more heartwarming episode after the descent into madness last episode. Fun fact: the title is drawn from the lyrics of the song "Panic" which plays at the end of the episode.

It follows Amy (Georgina Campbell) and Frank (Joe Cole), who are matched into relationships for fixed lengths of time by an algorithm that eventually determines their life-long partner. They are matched together for 12 hours. Despite initial nerves, they quickly get on and regret not having sex as they part. Coach (voice of Gina Bramhill) tells them the system monitors each relationship to assign them a lifelong partner on "pairing day", with a success rate of 99.8%.

Arkangel placed just 0.01 score higher than The National Anthem for now, while USS Callisters gained a few points after late ratings, but not enough to change its placing. We're now on the halfway point of Series 4.
The episode follows Mia (Andrea Riseborough) fifteen years after she helped her friend Rob (Andrew Gower) cover up a hit-and-run death, as she commits several murders in order to cover up her past crimes. Meanwhile, Shazia (Kiran Sonia Sawar) is an insurance investigator who uses a "Recaller" that can project people's visual memories onto a screen. The writers were inspired by Nordic noir and by a similar memory technology in series one's "The Entire History of You".

I agree that the technology is horrifying and sadly many parents would probably love it if it existed IRL.

It had great ideas but the overall plotline wasn't really as gripping as it could be to me.

Alcremie looks too soft and fragile, if I had one IRL I'd be afraid to accidentally squish it!

Nooo why is Boltund already out :( it is a great doggo. Though I'm a little taken aback by how Yamper evolves into it. They just look like different types of good boys!

As for Thievul... the design is...okay, it works. But gameplay-wise there's just nothing interesting about it. If it were just a bit more useful then maybe I'd like somewhat better.

Nickit and Thievul both still being in kinda surprise me ngl.

Sinistea and Polteageist's gimmick kinda annoys me since it's hard to check at a glance and doesn't really matter anywhere else. Unlike Spinda's pattern, which also doesn't matter but you can see right away.

The -zolt heads are my favorite too and I still have hope they'll be in complete form one day. But if not, the fan arts are there.

Aww Hatterene dropped :( I love its design, its dex entry is hilariously unhinged, and its typing is decent.

Buffers and debuffers can be good depending on the game's mechanics I think.

Sorta related Animists in FFTA have sorry accuracy so why bother - potentially - afflicting status effects (...well, different from stat debuffs) when you can just deal some damage.

Started playing it again from the start (never finished it) and oh man...

Actually what the heck is wrong with the accuracy in the game, it sure is fun when nothing happens for 5 turns since everyone keeps missing each other.

Oh yeah didn't expect it to go that easy (both the subscription and cancellation).

Then again it seems pretty easy to add an additional confirmation menu.
