Oh I should probably mention that I'm comparing black salamander to the 1 tick chinchompa hunting method.

From what I've seen of black chin hunting you have to shoot the chinchompas as well for max xp rate. With an alt used to shoot them it hits 270k xp an hour which is insane. But damn I don't think I can handle that for more than an hour or so

Once I've unlocked more of the game Id try the red chinchompa 1 tick method in priff which requires song of the elves quest completed to access (initially thought this was needed for the private hunting ground but I was wrong). That seems more manageable to me and I think it still hits close to 200k xp an hour? Plus no getting pked. This would be a post 99 thing.

Though I've heard birdhouses are already decent for quick hunter xp a day. Ive never done one yet.

you know, black chins are much higher xp/hr than salamanders. There's a pet chance when hunting chins as well.

You'd probably be dealing with pkers more often though.

Ngl i chose black sally's over the chins mainly because it appears less click intensive

got 96 hunter! i took a few hours break after 95 and got 2nd wind (so xp per hour is not accurate but just reset it so I can see if it improved any after like level mid 80s or so [it hasnt lol]).
