reminder that some people still think tiered pokemon play is a bad thing

I think basic tiers like UU, OU, and Ubers are quite reasonable with 400 Pokemon.

I think shit like banning dynamaxing in OU and having ridiculous stuff like "BL3-probably-BL4" as a tier is a bit "REEEEEE" in my opinion. Slight exaggeration, but I remember when Pokemon Showdown wasn't Pokemon Meltdown. It's never been the same.

Other than that, it's the most balanced online I've seen in a while-- on the Switch, at least.. Most Pokemon can feel viable now if they're on the right team. Base stat totals, abilities, moves, and items are much more balanced in terms of team capabilities. Dynamaxing can be a bit theatrical, and at times mundane, but can be used offensively or defensively which is neat.

I've been trying to find a Trick Room counter for Zacian before adapting to the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" mentality, but this thing is stupid broken-- not sure why they thought this would be a healthy competitive/ranked idea by allowing 700+ BST dudes into the mix.

Am I misunderstanding something about ranked?

This thing, if +Atk nature, gets the Lv50 equivalent of Lv100's 723 Attack just for entering the battlefield with its ability. What gives?

Please help, I don't want to play cancer to fight cancer.

Because if he doesn't--*hits blunt*-- I've got an idea I want to run by you guys.

It should be One Kick Man.

When One Kick Man is asked by the paparazzi how he is so strong, he smugly replies that it's because he does 1000 squats every day. (To spite One Punch Man's 100 push ups every day... did I get that right, or do I remember that wrong...)

But he is equally strong/frail against One Punch Man, and so if one punches/kicks the other, they die.

One Punch Man calls bullshit on this theory and, taking it as a joke, attempts to decimate One Kick Man with "the most powerful punch ever thrown."

One Kick Man retaliates with "the most powerful kick ever known."

An unstoppable force meets an immovable object!

What will happen next?!

Worth it if you enjoy competitive battling, but very bland otherwise. Characters and story are shallow, no post game, and the raid connectivity issues can get annoying.

They made raising competitive Pokemon easier than they ever have in past games.

People are complaining about no national dex, but the available Pokemon make the game feel more balanced so far in my opinion. No complaints in this area, unless you like ragging on them for Kanto region pandering.

You, my friend, are suffering from an ego shutdown.

You hold yourself to high standards and you seek pleasure externally because your ego is worried it's miscalculating "less fun" and you don't care to be in the competition anymore. Life sucks.

Wrong.

I've seen how you post for a long time now. I am 100% not insulting you-- you have a lot of unresolved mental tension because I'm guessing you don't know how to simply let go.

You think you do, and that is a dead end because admitting it doesn't advance your satisfaction state to a high enough level worthy of your attention span, but bruh you gotta chill out and stop overanalyzing stuff and being disconnected from the present. Truly.

You gotta just be you. Find some kickass binaural beats on YouTube without ads, and lay down with the headphones. Forgive yourself for not knowing how to get past the existential funk-- it's your mind trying to point your time and energy to what you know isn't working for you.

If your thoughts drift to harmful stuff, that's totally normal-- forget what the media portrays it as, and observe your hateful thought cells getting purged away like you're puking in the form of mental clarity. You're just getting the lethargic depressing energy blockages cleared out of your system.

Meditate and look out for synchronicities. Those usually happen during these so-called "spiritual awakenings."

It's censorship.

Might be different if the groups tried to sell their own vaccines, but most of them are searching for alternative, natural/organic solutions.

Vaccine ingredients ought to be open source in my opinion, but they're not. It's like food at the grocery store without ingredients.

If you distrust government or Big Pharma, but willingly accept vaccines without question, then you are not exercising true critical thinking skills.

Big Tech (Facebook) and Big Pharma don't want you to be woke, so they censor what they don't agree with.

I am not advocating anti-vaxxer mentality, but it's total censorship.

I'm a cat person at the moment, but I will never own another cat. I'll never have the bond with them like I do this one.
