I suppose at this point I'd be contented if they can just figure out the banner reset bug that shows me as a 0 power Ranger.

My heart yearns for Conjuration, but I'd probably go with Enchanting. Might not be as fun, but I think it'd be more useful in the real world creating interesting knickknacks. Well, assuming I could collect the ingredients. Be kind of useless to have the skill but lack the tools, in which case I'd fall back to Conjuration.

I feel like you guys are right on the motherboard. Although I can literally switch the good drive to any MOBO port and it works just fine. So the ports are good. But the MOBO could still be fucked and only be capable of picking up one SATA drive?

Nothing has been showing up in BIOS, aside from the OS drive (the NVMe M.2, haven't moved it),the good SATA SSD and that good SSD shows up properly on every MOBO port, but the other drives (including the new HDD) won't.

Does that still sound like the MOBO?

Possibly. Although if they're working with a known working drive, I guess my next question might be have you performed a firmware upgrade while you were doing your other upgrades? If so, I would back up the configuration and try a reset just to rule out any rogue settings or firmware update snafus.

Is this just a hypothetical, or are you actually considering an RMA for four year old drives? Because, unless they're enterprise drives, the warranty has almost assuredly expired.

I don't know that they are all alike, but I can say all mechanical watches I own have a period of time over which the date is gradually changed. I think it would be too great a force for these little motors to have it switch in one instant.
I just checked 2, one started the change around 10pm and lasted until about midnight, the other started about 11pm and clicked near 11:50.

Aesthetically, I think I actually do prefer that one, but that could just be my aversion to offset faces and silver being more my color. Still a bigger fan of the first one though, just because spring power is more fun to me. Of course, as you know, that's just my bias, they both seem like very fine watches.

It's entirely possible. Thicker watches can take a bit of acclimation, although 12 would still seem pretty manageable to me. I have one that's kind of smallish but fat, 40mm and 14mm, and it feels pretty comfortable. However, that's my wrist, and I did buy it after that huge motherfucker. My perspective may have been skewed somewhat.

I'm familiar with your feelings, and it'd be wrong of me to push you into or out of the purchase. The price isn't exactly what most people would consider cheap, and it's a personal decision making that kind of investment. That said, on the point quoted, if you don't have anything similar you could always visit a store and ask to try on a few watches of approximate size. Actually having one on your wrist will give you a good idea of when it's just too unwieldy. I have one that's humongous, 45mm diameter, about 14/15mm thick and 24mm lugs. It originally came with a shiny metal band and, although I did like it, just seemed kind of ridiculous and heavy on my wrist. After a while I dressed it down with a nylon Zulu strap and really enjoy wearing it now.

Whatchu folks who own autos think?

They can be incredibly fun, but you have to be willing to accept they aren't perfect. They aren't even perfectly linear, as their consistency will be affected throughout the day simply by how tight their springs are, their axial rotations, even the temperature. If you need precision, you should use quartz. It's proven technology and even a dirt cheap quartz will be accurate to seconds within years, far more accurate than autos costing thousands of dollars. Mechanical watches are more about the flavor, the sounds they make or the sights, depending how open the face is even watching the engine at work.

Shadow of Mordor has some of the most satisfying shanking ever. The sequel probably does as well, but I haven't played it yet.
State of Decay 2 is great for stealthing zombies, I especially enjoy it with partners, although there are survival aspects you might not be looking for.
Aragami is a pretty cool indie title, kind of like Splinter Cell with ninja magic. It's also got co-op, shanking with friends!
