Wii had really weird versions of a lot of games. I remember my friend bought The Force Unleashed on Wii and it was a completely different game than the one I played, with different combat mechanics and cutscenes and levels, and it even had a weird multiplayer mode that was missing from the main version. It was so odd.

Yeah, every now and then you still get something new out of nowhere. The other day Jacoby Ellsbury passed Pete Rose and is now the all time leader in times reaching base on a catcher's interference. He set the single season record last year as well.

We can only pray for the SNES classic, but that was definitely encouraging to hear.

Packers is probably most accurate I think. Only difference is the Packers get mondo hype from the media every time they make the playoffs while the Cards get a yawn or groan.

The best episode is Mountain of Madness. The most overrated among the episodes frequently cited as the best ever is You Only Move Twice. Cape Feare is awesome.

I definitely would not meet Trump and I would write a boring essay in the Player's Tribune about why I skipped it.

I really don't understand how the Cubs got a pass on the Trump thing. It would have been one thing if it was just their regular White House visit after winning the World Series, but they went there when Obama was still in office and just went back again to see Trump. That's a very conscious decision to support Trump and nobody cared. Deadspin wrote like 50 words on it. Imagine if the Cards had done that!!! Anyway that's a great reason to root against a Cards World Series for a while.

You know what I've always found interesting about Nolan Ryan? He would pitch 300+ innings a year and only allow like 12 homers. That's crazy. It's too bad we don't have batted ball data from his era. It'd be interesting to see (for me anyway) what his groundball and flyball rates looked like.

Anyway I played Before the Storm episode 1 today. I enjoyed it but it doesn't feel totally necessary just yet. You'd be fine waiting for a while I think. Also they changed all the voice actors. Maaaaybe Victoria has the same voice but the rest are all new, and I know because I played through the first game this past week. Maybe it won't distract you if you haven't played in a while but it bothered the hell out of me.

How can you take Chloe away from Max?! I don't even care if it's romantic or not. They love each other! It's just too much for me. Screw the tornado for trying to drive them apart. I can't imagine Max letting Chloe go again.

Well I would never say no to more Portal. Those games are so good. I don't know why they stopped making Half-Life though. They have the resources to make it whenever they want and it would be huge news to see it return. So many people would be happy and you only have to do one more and end it!

Bartolo is a rare breed to have lasted this long. One of a kind really. Yes in general pitchers can get by as fat guys, but it's getting less and less common to see fat guys at all. They're more on the husky side if anything instead of being outright obese like Colon is.
