The point of boycotts is to tell people who never consumed something to not consume them. Right, libel is the main differentiating factor and it is slimy and immoral. Libel is a civil crime though, not a criminal crime, in every developed country.

Id definitely say keeping ID on record is a valid concern, but I also don't know why that would be required. When I scan in tour guests, we pull first name and DOB automatically into the system from any of the 50 states' ID. I dunno. There's a reason people say that make sure you work for yourself if you ever decide to settle down in Japan, as there is no 40 hour work week in Japan. Yes, the advertise it, but many people choose to work a lot more hours.

Japan has the third highest life expectancy in the world with both Miyazaki and Miyamoto outliving some of these younger legends. I don't know what happened with Inomata but Toriyama was a heavy chainsmoker which likely contributed to it.

No, I won't. Social media causes directly and indirectly a lot of harm to millions of people. It desperately needs to be stronger regulated and moderated. As long as the companies can't guarantee that, I'm not against speaking out bans. Especially if these platforms come from countries with questionable intentions. It shouldn't stop with Tiktok. Other platforms like Facebook, Twitter or Telegram should also held accountable for tolerating criminal content on their platforms.
