With a kid, you'll be ringing in the new year at 10PM and asleep by 1030 because you don't want to wake the kids up. If you're lucky, you might get a glass of champagne.

That's fine. Banging sluts is really fun but being in a quality relationship is a lot more fulfilling and kids are inevitably part of that in my mind. I work with kids in my current job and its really rewarding to help shape the life of another human being. Eventually I'd like to have my shot at being one of the truly primary figures in up to three children's lives.

I don't know about you but Queen Elizabeth is basically synonymous with the words "queen" and "royalty" for me. England has had sever more major female rulers than her as well.

Catherine the Great was pretty great.

Even China had one empress, even if she is to this day held up as an example of terrible governance.

Meh, I'm not literary critic, but I remember it being thought-provoking and well written enough to merit it's inclusion in our curriculum. Good is a bit of an arbitrary term to begin with, but I don't think we can write it off as a total wreck considering the significance of it's popularity and it's inclusion in the collective zeitgeist of science fiction. The writer is undeniably a horrible person, though.

I specifically meant the movie. I've never read the book but it sounds like a very teenage appropriate book in terms of content and complexity.

Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee were always pretty cool to me because several regions changed them to something meaningful for them. English is obviously Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. In Japan they're named after Hiroyuki Ebiwara and Tadashi Sawamura. In Korea they're named after Hong Soo-hwan and Yi Sung-sun.

It's the worst DBZ movie by far and I've never seen a form of it that was able to salvage how horrible it is at its core. The original is awful. The Malaysian dub is awful. The Abridged version is almost sort of ok but that's it. It's just a movie about nothing with bad stupid villains that don't do anything and have no reason to exist.

It's not that far off from the original movie from the 80s. Hideo Kojima actually summarized it really well: "The original is about 'what does it mean to be a human?' vs the new movie that just asks 'Who am I?"" It's roughly the same-ish story with some lovingly recreated action scenes from the original but it's simpler and a even the original is a bit dated in a world that is a hair's breadth away from being cyberized for real.
