Its a shame that Spongebob has gone from a genuinely funny and clever show for kids that adults could also enjoy to being a purely child focused product. But being anything other than disappointed about that seems kinda weird. Decreased crime rates and popularity of video games are both so widespread that I don't know how anyone could seriously see something in that correlation
What the fuck does this gibberish even mean? Are you actually trying to say "those two things you're saying are somewhat correlated are happening everywhere so they can't be correlated"? Because that would be an extreeeeemely dumb response and I would laugh loudly in your face if that's what you're trying to say.

If gaming weren't widespread it wouldn't be able to have a large effect like that. Games existed and were popular in the 80s but crime was still pretty high. Then around the early to mid 90s gaming became extremely popular, particularly with young men, and suddenly things that young men like to do such as drink, have sex, and do dumb potentially destructive shit starts to absolutely nosedive. But no, those are both "so widespread" (whatever the fuck that even means in this context) so they can't have any effect on each other.

I don't think it's a 1:1 correlation that videogames take 100% credit for but since videogames became mainstream and widely available violent crime rates have cratered in the places they're popular. It would take a very convincing argument to persuade me that doesn't mean videogames have made the world a better place and "I dunno man, whatever happened to like...uhh...hustle?" is not even close.

The opening post literally acknowledged the conspiracy theories. And unlike the ridiculous claims surrounding Clinton friend Jeffrey Epstein who *had* a history of attempting suicide and had just come off a suicide watch, this guy had repeatedly mentioned fears that he would be killed in prison and they'd try to make it look like a suicide.
The OP said "I wonder if there are any conspiracy theories" and then that other guy said "Hmmm looks really suspicious. Why would he be scared of US prisons?" Those aren't the same thing.

And if you take McAfee's blathering about that sort of stuff at face value then you obviously don't know even a little about him. Not like I'm gonna write his biography or anything but it's incredibly obvious he was exactly the sort of person to say "If it ever looks like I committed suicide it was 100% the FBI that did it" and then immediately commit suicide.

Like, oh shit, tax evasion. What a terrifying crime for an extremely rich person. If he gave a shit about fighting it he had the resources to drag out extradition and then battle in court for at least as long as the sentence would have been.

El Salvador and Paraguay planning to accept bitcoin is laughable. No responsibly run government would have any use for it given how slow governments work and how volatile bitcoin is. They'll either abandon the plan or pass some form of it and it will do absolutely nothing (or it will turn into some absurd money laundering loophole somehow).

And yeah, no actual people use bitcoin for anything for the same reason. It is theoretically becoming an accepted form of payment but it's so obtuse to use that transaction fees and value fluctuations massacre any possible value it would have beyond money laundering. Unless you're an absolute moron that doesn't care about paying double the price of something there's no way to just buy a hamburger with bitcoin.

The DiC dub is great. I bet a lot of manga purists would complain that it's a poor representation of the source material but it's pretty funny.

The show is super light though. I'm like 20 episodes in to the first season and it's mostly just them dicking around for a bit, their friend gets turned crazy by the nega-verse, and then they fight a monster for about 3 minutes and win so everyone learns a lesson. There's not really a whole lot of deep character development or anything either. If I didn't have fond childhood memories or a desire to watch well drawn 90s anime I wouldn't really know why I was watching it.

You only have your opinion terminated on a website so many times before you stop posting it there. I feel like the turnout of the polls is in part due to how many users are treated here.

Video walkthroughs dont cover everything all the time because the producers of them have to race each other to get the info out. I was really surprised to find info on the newest Valhalla update the same day it released. Were still trying to figure out how to get one small chest in one of the forts.
I almost always prefer text walkthroughs but I'm a fussy old man. I'm just surprised that GameFAQs made 0 push at all toward integrating video stuff. The basic design and purpose of this site has been the exact same for nearly 20 years.
