Considering normal honeys taste changes depending on the flowers they use, I highly doubt it.

So I got rid of my Star Rail account. Sure, 32 tickets on a banner that just disappeared on me is nothing in the grand scheme of things but I wanted my 50 pull guaranteed 5 star :(. I kinda want to create a new account since I like the game, but I don't want to redo everything.

Did that beginner banner that cost 8 instead of 10 have a time limit? I didn't get to the guarantee yet and today it's gone.

I personally dont care what the rates are when the free characters can do everything.

I liked Seele in the battle trial, but I dont know if I want to try for her or just save up. No interest in Kafka or Silver Wolf atm, so that will make things easier.

Ill be trying it on PC. Well see how it goes, but I havent stuck with any gacha since quitting Counterside last August. They all either suck, or are too hard for me like Counterside, GFL, and Guardian Tales.

I wasnt trying to imply it was, and Im deeply sorry thats how it comes across. I was dumbly looking at the forced working without payment and being able to be sold off to someone else as a part of a broader category of slavery. Even if it is (which it probably isnt), when people mention slavery of course they mean chattel slavery. That makes it a stupid question for me to ask. I was also operating under false assumptions. I was sure that I had read that indenture could be inherited and that the servant had no legal recourse if the contract holder decided to increase the term. Your dad didnt fulfill the term, so now you have to. And by the way, Ive increased the term. We werent taught about this in school at all so everything I know, or thought I knew, comes from books, TV, and the internet. Thanks for calling it out. Norman_Smiley made me realize what I knew was wrong. You made me realize how idiotic I was.

yes, though good numbers are really hard to find. Whites were enslaved in a Mediterranean slave trade, going to northern African, Anatolia, near east. The ottomans may have been the biggest trader in white slaves. Some of those got sent to America. I dont think it was anymore than 300k. And some of the stuff suggests it might have been more akin to modern human trafficking sex slaves than the field slaves we normally think of when talking about new world slavery.

Lightbulbs. I had ones that lasted 30 years. When they finally burned out, the replacements last a year at most.

One time at the Royal Tyrrell Museum I overheard a father telling his son that scientists created fossils to turn people away from God. I assume from that that he doesnt believe in dinosaurs. I should probably put more thought into my rankings though. Firs is my automatic first thought for worst because I find it so much worse than Sophie or Lydie & Suelle. The attempt at open world just felt bland, as did the characters and story. Of the new characters, Firis is pretty much the only one I liked, though Liane's character development was good. Unfortunately they threw all that development out the window in L&S to make her sister obsession her sole character trait. I also wasn't a big fan of the alchemy system in the Mysterious games, but I didn't dislike it enough in Firis to use as a downside. It mostly comes down to being a drop in quality from all the games before it and being worse than it's sequel.

As for the Ryza games; I kind of like the alchemy system, the locations are okay, but I dislike almost all the cast and story. This puts them slightly ahead of Firis. Being vague to avoid spoilers, but I found the background story to the areas of Ryza 2 vastly more interesting than the actual stories of either game. Ryza has the distinction of being the only MC in the series that I dislike though.

Where my automatic thought of Firis being the worst hits a snag is Sophie 2. I'm currently almost done it and while I like the story and characters (Sophie is probably my favourite MC even though Dusk is my favourite trilogy), I absolutely loathe the alchemy and major gathering in Sophie 2. I don't remember having much of an issue with it in the rest of Mysterious, but I hate the alchemy in Sophie 2 to the point that I've come close to quitting the game because it multiple times. I'm enjoying playing it when I don't have to synth anything. Writing this made me realize that while I generally rate the Ateliers based on story and characters, one that I hate playing frequently is worse. Firis and the Ryza's might have been slogs to get through, but I didn't ever want to just drop them. So, yeah most mediocre? Firis. Worst series as a whole? Secret (Ryza). Worst game? Sophie 2

Its my second least favourite Atelier (with Ryza 2 being the third worst and no interest in playing Ryza 3 as a result), but I know a lot of people love it.

As I say every time you mention this, I have no idea where you heard that. Ryza 2 has her top turn see through when it rains, has crawl spaces that either focus on her ass or look down her shirt, has victory pose involve her bend over seductively, etc. I personally think they turned up the fan service.

I liked Hyperion, hated Fall of Hyperion, liked Endymion, and hated Rise of Endymion.

Or you could play Last Origin on PC with an official translation, unless they got rid of it. I tried it once and was completely turned off by a lot of the designs which is a shame because I actually want a gacha with nudity, but no sex scenes.
