Japanese market for video games isnt that large. Third largest in the world but only 16 percent of the global market as of 2021. Being big there and nowhere else isnt an achievement.Unless I'm misunderstanding something here, I feel like this would be more of a reason to NOT cancel an entry of a region's most popular video game franchise. --- I miss Fauna. |

I'm gonna be so fucking pissed if DQ3-HD was cancelled. I've been waiting forever for that game! Considering that Dragon Quest is like THE RPG franchise in Japan, it would be crazy for them to cancel the one thing that will arguably help them make more money. --- I miss Fauna. |

I could see how Nintendo lawyers taking advantage of this if said 3D models was just a modification of an official one used in the games. Kinda surprised Newgrounds managed to survive so long at this point though, especially with hosting adult art which has been a big issue these days.
It makes me wonder what other places lawyers have been sending, erm, requests too. It's not like Newgrounds is the only place that hosts Princess Peach porn after all. --- I miss Fauna. |

tbh I don't think a lot of people who are paranoid of woke stuff would be interested in the games that this company was involved with outside maybe Suicide Squad and Arkham Knights. And I haven't heard great things about those two but it doesn't seem entirely related to wokeness or whatever. Kinda interested in After Love because it takes place in Indonesia though. --- I miss Fauna. |
