IIRC the big differences are the Lite cannot be docked for TV playing and the joycons are embedded so if they break you cant switch them out.

This is such a laughably stupid move. Literally doubling the price without adding *anything* in the process.

Currently Gamepass is 180/year. As a savvy consumer I already have gamepass prepaid through late 2023 and only paid about 150 for it. I play on a One.

With all that said, this price hike basically assures me I will never buy a series X. I already figured that by the time I need to renew the price will have gone up, but the way theyre pricing gold now has my very concerned that within three years it wont be unreasonable to expect Game Pass to be like 250/year or even more. I simply dont have enough time to game like that to where a price that high would be worth it.

I sunk countless hours into BL2 and took four characters to max OP and the other two into the 50s or 60s.

That said, 3 kinda sucks. The gunplay is a huge improvement but thats about it. The story and new characters are hot garbage. The classes and skill trees are relatively uninspired. Enemy variety is severely lacking. Online matchmaking is nonexistent (the single biggest offense IMO). The OP levels are replaced with mayhem modifiers which just introduce random modifiers that are more distracting or frustrating than fun. Raid bosses have been replaced with raid missions, and there are only two.

Dont get me wrong, I still took 3 characters to max level in 3 (well whatever was max level at the time) but I havent played the game at all since maybe March and dont plan to anytime soon.

I have it an Xbox Slim. Put maybe ten hours in. Two hard crashes. Tons of rendering issues. The AI is trash. Put it on normal and you can just run up to enemies and blast them. Put it on hard and theyre bullet sponges.

Ive decided just to shelve it until the next patch. If things dont get better Ill shelve to the next patch and try again. I do think there is an excellent game waiting but it just isnt finished.

I made a post yesterday saying that I put two hours in on an Xbox Slim and outside of stuttering on the opening movie I didnt have any issues.

Since then Ive put in about three more hours and have two hard crashes, and at least three times where the game almost crashed. Im also having issues where if you drive too fast shit takes like a good 30 seconds to even render on the screen. This shit is a hot fucking mess.

This topic is wild. While I can agree these microtransactions are predatory and you shouldnt be able to spend that much on a game, it fucking blows my mind that a few people are trying to absolve the parents of any responsibility here.

Like if I make an in-app purchase I have to use my thumb print to confirm, AND I get an app notification any time my credit card is used, AND I scan my CC bill every time I pay it. Any one of these three basic ass things any functioning adult should do could have prevented this, or at the very least caught it well before it snowballed into 16K of debt. I truly dont understand how anyone can be so careless.

The craziest thing for me was a talked to some homeless person laying on the ground and their head just started spinning 360 degrees very slowly. It was freaky.

Also when my gf did the VR training for combat one of the enemies just fell through the floor but was still shooting at her. She needed to reload.

Ive also seen at least three cell phones randomly floating in the air.

Still no hard crashes or quest breaking bugs so thats a plus.
