My Huohuo team is Jingliu hypercarry, and with Kafka not being weak to ice, I just wasnt dealing enough damage fast enough.

Getting closer to 36*ing MoC this month, but my secondary team doesnt match up well against the Kafka fight. Oh well.

Aeriths definitely got to me during that segment.

Houhous E1 is a nice QoL boost but I dont think its super necessary. Ive never had a problem without it, but it would be pretty nice in an SP hungry team.

Its a really fun fight. Some of the protorelic stuff got tedious, but I think the payoff is worth it.

I kinda wish I was playing on PC so I could see all those summon stats.

But every single 5* has gone to pity, with the exception of Huohuo who I got in like 65 or something.

Another banner going to pity, but won the 50/50 at least, so Ive got Topaz. Need to build her and Ratio now.

2.2 beated. Still didnt quite hit the highs of the Cocolia fight, but very good overall.

Im nearing the end of the 2.2 story and Im still struggling to figure out why Boothill exists.

The final fight is worth finishing that quest line out.

Triple Triads simplicity is what really wins it over I think. At least the core gameplay of it.

QB is really good though. Its a very close second.

The pity is slightly lower, IIRC full pity is at 80 instead of 90. And you have a 75% chance of getting it instead 50%.

Still thinking about taking a crack at Topaz in a few days. If the 2.3 reruns end up being any combination of Huo Huo/Argenti/Ruan Mei/Ratio, the entire patch is a skip for me. Only a Silver Wolf re-re-run would get me to pull.

I ended up getting the Tifa date in my playthrough. I really wanted Aerith because I feel like it makes the most sense, and I thought I was being careful about their relationship levels, but I guess not enough.

After you beat the game and unlock chapter select it does let you choose your date so you can see the other scenes.

Fireflys kit really does not look appealing to me at all. I hate the constant HP fluctuation.

Jade is interesting, but doesnt really work that well with the typical FUA team.

Yep. IIRC you need to do the Gold Saucer stuff before you get access to the last protorelic quests anyway.

Yeah, that is the point of no return. The game tells you as much, but make sure you do whatever you want before heading there.

Alright, got Remembrance down. All normal pathstrider trials done. Still need to get the hidden ones. Not sure I have teams capable of doing some of the paths on torment either, Elation would be fairly tough for me. Otherwise, SD is basically cleared out.

nothing like doing a remembrance run in swarm disaster and having cocolia and gepard be your choices for phase 2 bosses

Aventurine has been excellent. Massive shields, does reasonable damage if kitted right, triggers extra debuffs for Acheron.

No complaints.

There are still situations sure, but I do think the incentive to pull becomes significantly less and you can choose your spots a bit more carefully once you have two teams.

Jingliu is better than good-ish. She absolutely shreds the deer with Hunt path. But Im assuming thats not an option here.

Hmm, yeah thats tough. You could try Hunt with the blessing that refills your energy when you kill and enemy. If Himeko is killing the saplings consistently enough, the increase in Ults might be enough to up the damage, especially if you bring Pela for shred.

Who do you have for DPS?

Yeah, once you have two solid teams, pulling for extra characters seems a bit less useful.
