God no

I'm not that good at glitches and such. Logic is the whole reason I like the Randomizer. It creates a whole new game to be played using the world that's already there

it shuffles items across games as well as within the game. Eg your slingshot could be in my game somewhere, and then when I find it it would be you who gets a slingshot instead of me

then you get however many people you set it up for, connect with netplay, and play through it together all at once just passing items around

That's fucking wacky. Cool though.

Does it work with Retroarch though?

Really glad I took the time to get a Big Poe. Got the bombs finally out of that. Also really glad I decided to go kill the 4th Gerudo even though I only had 3 keys. Got the boomerang outta her.

I think I can go finish child now, excepting much of Spirit, and the entirety of the Well

Got pretty far in a run like a week and a half ago. Hadn't played since and didn't remember everything I'd done so I started over the other day. Pretty much cleaned out everything I could as child...

I ended up finding the Song of Time in like the last place I even could think of. It was the reward for Skull Mask at the Deku Gallery.

Close second is OoT/MM Link. Defeated the first incarnation of Ganon(dorf) with the mind of a 9 year old. Also the entirety of MM's story is so fucking good. And then by TP he became a hardened warrior with armor and everything and was a kick-ass skeleton.

I don't really need a video to tell me the obvious. They have potential as long as they're not forced into old styles of gameplay. If a game is designed around it from the ground up it tends to work better. People's perceptions are skewed because of the former.

Not necessarily. A large portion of the video talks about how it's bullshit that you can use a Dualshock 4 to use motion aiming on Steam for games not designed with it in mind, but it's impossible to use motion aiming in 99% of games on the PS4 because almost no devs will put it in as an option. It really is an interesting video. You should watch it.

takes less than a second to push a button to make an action happen while it objectively takes longer to move your arm to the screen to make a waggle action happen

How do you not understand lmao

Literally no one is saying waggle is good. The video says in the first two minutes that waggle is bad. This video is all about how waggle made a bad name for motion controls when it is factually better and the future for aiming.

Please learn to actually pay attention.

ZombiePelican posted...
Motion controls will never go past the level of novelty

So you're saying that no one will ever use motion controls seriously and no one actually wants them? You're wrong. See Splatoon 2, Doom, Fortnite, literally every shooter on Switch and the fact that many people opt for it on PC.

Irony considering all the novelty trash Nintendo has put out claiming to be the future of how we control our games only to fizzle out and be forgotten with time and the one thing that has remained is the traditional controller.

Look who missed the part where Sony has fully integrated motion into their standard controller and missed that Nintendo has kept motion in their controllers for 10 years

And glad to see given almost an hour and the only thing even resembling an argument you actually have is "muh input lag" when A) the speed of motion controls faaaaaaar outspeeds sticks even with fictional input lag and B) that input lag doesn't even exist in any truly noticeable capacity.

ZombiePelican posted...
, they'll never replace the traditional controller

Oh hey look who keeps missing the point. The video literally talks about how motion controls are a supplement, not a full replacement. No one in their right mind would say you can 100% replace controllers with motion lmao

ZombiePelican posted...
What's leaps and bounds happened that made motion controls absolutely need to be implemented? Oh right none, just a single company obsessed with changing the game because they can't keep up with everyone else

Look who forgot that literally every company copied Nintendo when they did motion controls. And like I said Sony has gyro built in to their standard controller.

I'm like halfway done and so far it's just biased ramblings from a blatant Nintendo fanboy. He unironically compared the control stick to gimmicky motion controls which is a joke, also him saying PC gamers have "embraced" gyroscopic controls when like 5 people use it is a joke

You are literally what the video is about. It's about how the Wii really really hurt motion controls as a concept because people like you blindly think that it's gimmicky garbage when it is LITERALLY FACTUALLY faster and more accurate than dual sticks. This is not arguable. That's like saying that m/kb is a gimmick. You are exactly the kind of person that's stopping progress. Motion aiming players are factually better than non motion. This is discussed heavily in the video.

Feel free to literally have incorrect opinions and be stuck in the past. I'll be more comfortable and a better shot with my gyro controller than you ever will be with twin sticks.

There is absolutely no justification for motion controls. Their implementation will be never be anything more than a novelty that wears off, we've had perfectly fine way of connecting avatar to player for decades now and it's called a controller and there's absolutely no need to keep trying to reinvent the wheel.
