I personally think it was just confusion and Wii fatigue. Even though it was it's own stand alone console it kinda felt like an upgrade to the Wii or a variation of the original Wii. Plus the Wii Mini came out around the same time probably adding to the confusion and Fatigue.

If they even named it something like Revolution or something else just to differentiate it from the Wii it might have sold better and lasted longer but regardless it's a really good product

Was looking at some of the games on the system. It really is an underrated console. Plus if you're a completely legal gamer that doesn't download Roms then the Virtual Console makes it even more valuable with the GBA games on it.

I'd get it for the Megaman Battle Network series alone if I didn't already have the cartridges

I don't want them to go away, I just don't want all the good 3D Fighters turned into 2D Fighters. Let the 2D Fighters be great but continue making good 3D Fighters

Another thing I also don't like is the excessive push to make 2D games with 3D backgrounds. Its cool here and there, but a lot of 2D Games are better off using Sprites. The sprite work in Marvel vs Capcom 1 and Street Fighter Alpha 3 is just beautiful

It's like every fighting game has this need to be stuck on a 2D plane nowadays. 2D Fighters are fun, I still play Marvel vs Capcom 1, Ultra Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 3 Alpha etc.

But I miss 3D Mortal Kombat (Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance / Unchained for PSP). The new Mortal Kombats just feel very dull. And I know a lot of people like Injustice Gods among Us but that game feels so boring to me.

And especially Dragon Ball Z. Dragon Ball FighterZ looks really good but I hope they don't start over producing 2D Dragon Ball Z games to appease fighting game "purists".

I switched the backwards dash to L1 and the Mist to L2. So right now the triangle button is unused.

I'm wondering if it's possible to switch the sub weapon from Up + Square to just Triangle. That would make it way easier. Right now I'm always using the sub weapon accidentally while running especially if I try to move with the analog sticks

Pretty good at this point. Has really improved in the last 10 years. Just about Every game that needs a controller has built in controller support

Sonic 1 is honestly kind of bad, but still playable in the same way Super Mario Bros 1 is bad but playable.

Sonic 2 and 3 and Knuckles are much better.

Sonic Advance was also great all around.

Sonic Rush series is also pretty good, even if it's kind of short. They're almost like extensions of the Sonic Advance series.

Sonic Mania is really really really good, I am very hype for this game. It's a true-to-form throwback to the genesis games but with some annoying quirks from the original games fixed like now Knuckles will automatically climb over the top of a cliff where as before you had to jump over the corner manually and it was not easy to do. The new Drop Dash mechanic for Sonic is much better than the instant shield from Sonic 3.

Yeah Sonic 2 was better for me than 1. I also played Rush Adventure and relly really loved that as a child. Didn't play the other one though

Some games like Mega Man X, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Legend of Zelda Link to the Past stand the test of time. Great controls and gameplay even by todays standards

Was great to me, I only played 3 though. The snow area act is my favorite in any Sonic game and the music was awesome too
