i'm not usually smart enough to figure out the majority of a case before it ends, but I'm at the second trial of 2-3 and i think i've got it figured out


asman is the professor. he killed someone close to drebber before he was executed, and somehow survived or faked his death. drebber caught him in the act of his 'resurrection', which was what caused the loss of his hair colour. asman rose to power as a criminal leader, unaware that drebber knew his real identity or that he was still alive. drebber then later planned the fake experiment demonstration as an elaborate plot to kill asman. asman got in the birdcage, the explosion happened while the birdcage asman was in dropped to the ground, which gave him the neck injury before drebber finished him off with the screwdriver stabbing. while this was going on, the birdcage with the profesor/asman waxwork in it burst from the green balloon because of the crossbow, which is why drebber also orchestrated the waxwork's theft. after the professor/asman birdcage fell into the tower, drebber swapped the birdcage and is why the waxwork has the glass in it. i suspect he had an accomplice, maybe tusspells.

And Klavier Gavin and Simon Blackquill never had such a part of their characters. One could even say Nahyuta never really had that.

i mean, fair enough for blackquill, he didn't hate any protagonist, but he was still very brazen in the way he presented himself. klavier i felt like didn't like apollo but tolerated him. nahyuta changed by the end of the game or at least stopped hiding his true feelings, but he was definitely more hostile than zieks.

mainly i'm just glad my main characters isn't getting whipped, cut at, or having cups of coffee thrown at them any more.

There's a side quest you need to complete where you deliver a letter to someone on the mainland so you can get a passport. Forgot what it was called tho.

yeah, make sure to not fuck up like i did and advance the story quests too far or you won't be able to complete the side quest
