And yeah I mentioned that Arc's holy damage seemed terrible for me for the III Torment. I didn't end up switching because I could beat it anyway and he has native white w-cast, but I'll definitely keep that in mind for whenever I get enough BDLs to try the DB/DK.

For what it's worth, his native white w-cast lmr still works if he's using his HA as a summon. It's one of those things that I still don't completely understand.
I looked at the details on his HA, and it's no wonder he was doing so much better: the summon multiplier per hit is 4.95, while the white magic multiplier is only 3.55 (Holyja is 3.10)

FFIII Bahamut is dead.

I tried this with Arc using Holyja for an hour at least, until I was absolutely fed up with his shitty damage. So I ended up getting his HA and using him as a water summoner. The difference is ridiculous. He went from struggling to break 10k, to easily capping at 19,999HP.

It's much less pay to win than most other Gachas

1) There is no PVP.
2) All difficult content is permanently available, so if you can't do something yet, just wait until powercreep catches up to it.
3) Lots of Soul Breaks are available for free years later in the "Anima Shop", or via stamps and other selects during fests (every 3 months)
4) The gacha is actually fairly friendly, especially compared to some other games. Odds to get new relics are decent (1% per roll, 1 relic guaranteed on an 11-draw), plus there's absolutely no point to chasing dupes (there's a very minor benefit, but you can get the upgrade f2p anyway)

I haven't spent anything the past 2 or 3 years, and I'm not completely caught up on all content, but certainly on some of it.

To be fair, if you absolutely need to clear everything Day 1, you'll probably be spending quite a bit, but that's absolutely not necessary.

Yeah, her USB isn't bad, but we're kinda past the point where damage USBs were relevant.

I was thinking about skipping XIV since I've actually already sub-30'd its Bahamut, but the characters can still be relevant for Labyrinth bosses.
