My heart isnt with her. I am over that, but my self confidence of being abused for many years is so far in the toilet I cant accept my own value until someone else values me. Every rejection just makes me feel more and more like I am not good enough for anyone and will never be.

That's exactly why Id say 7 hours is too long for a first casual date.

Any flaws you have, the longer the date the sooner they can notice flaws and decide to bail.

Think of it as you were a salesman. When a sucke...I mean customer walks in to buy something, you want to sell your product as soon as possible. Not have them stick around long enough to notice flaws in the product. You want them to find those minor flaws after the customer has already invested so much into the product, the sunken cost fallacy kicks in.

Assuming your flaws aren't huge dealbreakers, you can ease folks into your minor flaws later into the relationship.

I'm no expert, but you gotta keep some kind of mystery on the first date. 7 hours on a first date is way too long for something casual.

I never really think about these things. I assume if there is chemistry it just works without thinking. There are so many rules to follow and so many things that can go wrong its almost impossible to keep up with them all.

Its a serious question, perhaps youre putting too much energy/investment in dating and women and the girls can sense it. Looks to me like you should be focusing more on yourself at the moment.

Everyone just says focus on yourself, but its unclear what that means. I am in shape, make pretty good money, take care of myself and have a handful of friends. It seems like a way of saying You really have no control over this so focus on something else you do.

Tbh all of it has been behind closed doors so fans are all speculating on rumors, but I guess Keith opted to become sober and travel alone, and it was overheard that Jordan was looking to replace him. Then Keith had some meltdown on social media about it. Angie (Keiths girlfriend) has taken over all his social media and promotional accounts and allegedly most communications have been going through her.

Im personally just waiting for legal statement. I saw paperwork was sent to Keith to legally consent to his removal from the band, and the band has outright said they will not be continuing under the name Every Time I Die for further music

Also, you might as well keep the dating apps going and just screw around a little bit. If you get a match and something happens just go with the goal of having fun and that is it. Eventually you will feel better.

My reaction to break ups was to throw myself back out there and just aim for casual sex. Not saying that is a great idea, but it kept me from wallowing. The causal part didn't always work though, as I tend to start truly liking women a little too easily sometimes.

If its only been 2 months then you should probably go on dates without the focus of them turning into something more than fun. Getting over a long relationship takes a lot of time. This is supposed to be the moment where you focus on yourself and have fun until the past memories start to fade. The ex has to be cut off completely or youll never be able to move on.

Well I finally texted my ex today and told her I need to cut contact with her for awhile. She wasnt doing anything threatening but if girls are sniffing her on me, I cant have her in my orbit anymore.

I tried to avoid it but to be blunt we broke up 2 months ago and dates 7 years off and. Its nearly impossible to without giving 0 context to anything about my life.

She did answer me, and basically said my relationship is with my ex was too recent, and there were clearly parts of me that still havent separated myself from my life with her.
