| VincentVega 02/29/24 7:31:50 AM #14 | Here in Ontario you have to do 40 hours of community service to graduate high-school. I volunteered st a retirement home, just chatted with residents and called bingo every so often. It was okay.

Most homeowners aren't millionaires. Do you live in one of those super HCOL areas? Canada, yes. A one bedroom apartment is minimum $1500 a month here. Minimum wage is something like $1800 a month. I make well above minimum wage but after taxes and so on there isn't enough left st the end of the month to put away for a rainy day fund and a deposit on a house.
