Ike will trigger Bonfire twice when attacked thanks to QR - the timing works better than Ignis. Aether is probably what you want for chain challenges to keep him fueled. I've found it to be pretty useful in arena assault too. If I see an Armor team, QR Aether Ike needs little assistance to solo them. --- |

Tharja/Soren are the two I usually like to pair with Eirika because Tharja makes short work of Hector and Soren counters Reinhardt. I never did pull a decent Nino. At the very beginning, I had two accounts until I settled on the luckier one. I had a good Nino way back then. I tried to get Arena assault out of the way, but things fell apart at the very end when I had to fight Xander/Cecilia/Brave Lyn/Reinhardt on that silly map with the breakable blocks in the middle. Nowhere to hide, and made it out of that map with only one character. Guess I'll try again tomorrow --- |

That was the only limited time banner I really pulled on, and I'd hate to miss a limited flying red mage or something. Scored 4842 in the Arena with Brave Lucina, Ryoma, Innes and Brave Lyn. I had to fight three Lyns and two Reinhardts. Triangle Adept Robin came up once, and I had to reposition Lucina into the fray to kill it. --- |

I spent the last 70 orbs I had just had the best session imaginable. 2x Brave Roy and 1x Brave Ike. Ike is +Def -Res, and one Roy was + Spd - Res. Pretty much perfect. I think I'm set until the Halloween banner or an Hinoka banner. Will have have to pass on the Tellius banner to build up again. barreldragon88 posted... You can give him Renewal and bring a dancer. Generally, people put the hone on melee units and fortify on the ranged. Reinhardt should carry fortify because he benefits the least from receiving that buff. I'd put hone on Roy and Lyn since they will be regular team members and you want both of them receiving hone at all times. Then, Cecilia can also take fortify --- |

| Yankees 09/02/17 2:16:16 PM #10 | Beorc's Blessing is not actually the reason why Ike is good. It's his weapon coupled with Steady Breath. You can give him Quick Riposte along with that and have Bonfire trigger twice whenever he is initiated on. Or you can keep Aether and trigger it on Ike's first counter from a brave weapon. Beorc's blessing just cancels out the cavalry and flying buffs, and isn't as attractive as Quick Riposte on him overall. The problem is, I don't think he really does anything new as a character who is best used baiting physical units. I think Lyn is the character that you should free summon because summoning colorless is so bad. But you lose nothing by waiting until the end of the banner and picking who you don't get. I think I'd rank Lyn on top as the game's only cavalry archer and an impressive offensive spread. I'm not really sure after that. Lucina has fantastic stats, and can play a role like Eirika or Ephraim for physical units. I feel like people are seriously underestimating Roy. Heavy blade on his weapon is so powerful. You can pair it with Swift Sparrow, or Life and Death more realistically. Give him Quickened pulse and he can activate Galeforce on his first combat even if the opponent cannot retaliate. --- |

So, still a little slower than Gaius or Setsuna. Edit : I noticed that skill too. I'm assuming it would be an A for Ike. Seems pretty solid depending on how you want to use him. Distant counter should wreck Reinhardt if that's what you want. I think it is more likely this banner breaks the mold and they all stay 5*. But if any get demoted, it should be Lucina and Roy. We already have fortify, so it is likely only a matter of time. She's basically a 40k feather project or more considering Lightning Breath+ and her upgrade cost.
