I have really been enjoying the piano minigame. Even when it jumped in difficulty for this song it was still fun.

And I liked glide de chocobo as well except for the ending of the third map. That was just unnecessarily punishing. It being at the end makes it so much worse too

I just got the gold medals on all the glide de chocobo races. One was easy, two was not too bad but God damn the ending stretch of the third course demands literal perfection to get them all. That was really annoying

The warlock boss changes type between ranged/Melee/defense depending on what you have out. So you need to be ready to build new units to counter him as soon as he switches forms

I finally just beat cs3 after taking off from the series for a year and a half. After I finish rebirth I want to beat cs4 and reverie before this comes out

You can disable adaptive triggers in settings if you don't like it

I was worried for a while though because when I did the White Terror fight I kept getting my ass kicked. Did anyone figure this guy out? The game says you can pressure him with attacking and blocking but it was just not working and I kept getting blasted by his special move. In the end I brute forced a DPS race with Cloud/Tifa/Red but it still didn't seem like I was doing the fight correctly.

I won that fight first try by abusing reds vengeance mode. It was a close fight though he was definitely the hardest enemy at that point in the game. But anyone who isn't abusing status effects you can just vengeance your way to victory usually. The healing on his claw attack once that mode is active is just too much

I only just hit chapter 4 so prolly early on but I have been swapping my party and my leader constantly. I def prefer Tifa and Red but they managed to make every char fun which is great. In Remake I basically stayed on Tifa the entire time but in this game its way more fun to swap constantly. I haven't seen any footage but I'm hoping whenever I do find Yuffie that she's nerfed heavily from Integrade because otherwise I'll feel very guilty for not using her the whole time lol

Oh yeah minimap in field is def the way I am surprised they didn't have that by default

I'm playing performance on a 4k (technically 8k but I don't think PS5 is hitting that any time soon) TV and I think it looks better than graphics mode. 30 fps is just unplayable for me. I really don't notice any of the blurring others refer to

Zacks always been kinda goofy so I don't mind his new voice. I guess if he sounded slightly stronger somehow it'd be nice but I'm not really beat up about it

Just listened to this, sounds like it's basically going to be the same as remake where the game is great but the ending is fucking weird

I hated remake ending at first but grew to appreciate it so I'm hopeful this will be the same way

I wanted to play the HD Crisis Core before Rebirth was out. I only played it back on PSP. I liked it for what it was and Zack is the best

but 125 hours of Infinite Wealth was more important to me in the end and I'm doing the NG+ DLC right now instead.

Ask any competitive smash player, and theyll tell you how much Wii U feels different to play from Ultimate. All they have to do is tweak a few things and its an entirely new game

I think ultimate is actually the only game that feels like a sequel, I call it smash 4 2 all the time. Every other smash game switched up the formula a lot more. It's definitely still an improvement on 4 (by far the worst competitive smash) but the changes are not really interesting enough to make me want to play it.
