Anemo has a "weak" archon who's absolutely pulling his punches, a yaksha, a birdmom, the acting grandmaster, and a dude who deflected the unblockable attack. Oh, and a harbinger.

Geo has Zhongli, a woman with a flying fortress she can drop on people, a himbo oni, a renowned alchemist, a mobster, and a maid who somehow overpowers all the knights of favonius.

Electro has the wielder of the Musuo no Hitotachi, her right hand, her foxy familiar, a sea captain who cleaved a sea serpent in half without her vision, a champion duelist, and a raven that is so powerful it has a human for a familiar.

Dendro has a weak archon, a "feeble scholar," a forest ranger, an apothecary...yeah, it's not dendro.

Hydro has a dragon sovereign, an astrologer, a secret agent, a priestess, a deaconess, a dancer...I feel like Neuvillette's not being supported by his team here. Oh, and a harbinger.

Pyro is a hapless adventurer with the power of bad luck, Batman, a little pyromaniac, the Fatui's head of the House of the Hearth, her lieutenant, and a special ops captain.

Cryo is a qilin, an exorcist who could freeze an incoming tsunami (and her nephew), a champion boxer, secret agent nun, the Knights' cavalry and reconnaissance captains.

I'm sure I'm forgetting someone important. (And no, I did not list everyone on purpose.)

When I played CS1, Machias and Jusis were the most annoying part of the game until like the 80% mark, and even then I wouldn't say I liked either of them. At least Jusis wasn't quite as jus-less as I initially believed.

Didn't realize we'd moved on to GAA. I can actually contribute again for a couple cases...this being the last one.

I actually found the solution to this case satisfying, even if everything else about it's pretty bad. Most notably the characters. The defendant is Always! Activating! Awful! Animations! and it just doesn't land with me at all. I missed the other GAA topics, but the whole gimmick of interacting with the jury is really dumb, too, and the fact that Joan is on it only serves to tank the case further.

This was my first thought, though it's probably more visually impressive to see in front of you than it is technical.

We are voting for strictly traditional video games, right? No pinball, no redemption games, etc.

I have played zero GBC games. It's simply after my time with any interest whatsoever on handheld. I certainly could have named more classic games I've played, but most of them are crap. Sword of Hope and the port of Mortal Kombat aren't even deserving of +1.

Trick question. It'll just be tabletop board games.

Okay, I'm gonna go in a completely different direction with this one. My dad always used to laud the creation of this game, and I dunno what's even the proper name to call it beyond just "Chess," but we had a DOS-based Chess game that was under 10 kilobytes. The graphics were respectable enough insofar as the pieces looked like chess pieces. The game was perfectly functional, ran smoothly, and used arrow keys to move around the board to select pieces rather than just typing grid squares.

The kicker, though, was that it had an AI with 7 difficulty levels that my dad (who was decidedly not a chess player) was never able to beat even on the simplest settings. Neither did I, though that isn't saying much given how old I was at the time.

Honestly, the game's a bit of an enigma, because even with the best machine language-written optimized code of the time, I still can't imagine how they made a game that small that did as much as it did. So that's my answer: Chess.exe (DOS).

I didn't submit a list either, I couldn't come up with enough titles.

My list was mostly Commodore 64 games, with a couple exceptions. But that's what I had back then. My parents were anti-console for a very long time, but somehow playing games on a computer was okay.

And there weren't very many universal experiences on C64. Or DOS. Or really anything outside of school edutainment. Other than ports, Prince of Persia was probably the first genuinely successful computer game that I can think of. (Successful is obviously an incredibly relative term here. Does Ultima count? Zork? King's Quest?)

And I just realized Quest for Glory I was 1989. Damn.

Just don't bum rush the main quests. And expect that some of the stuff you try to do at the very beginning will get your ass kicked.
