In a lot of ways, theres a great game buried under the surface of Dragons Dogma 2. All of the components should work together. Ive never played a game I was so frustrated with, but equally wanted to keep playing. For someone out there, I can guarantee this will be their favorite game ever. Im sure it checks a lot of boxes for a lot of people looking for something different. I was looking for something different too, but I just feel like there was too much in the way for me to truly enjoy it. Im still going to give it more time, Im willing to be wrong, but for now I cant help but feel disappointed.

That said a whole bunch of nothing.

Am I the only one who thought the Suteki Da Ne family of songs was bigger in the game? I guess To Zanarkand is part of some different area bgm, but Yuna's theme, Daughter of the High Summoner, Someday the Dream Will End, and Suteki Da Ne all play in important or emotional moments.

But none of them were literally the first track you hear once you start the game. It literally sets the tone for the rest of the game. And don't get me wrong all those other tracks ARE really emotional but To Zanarkand right off the bat let's you know what you're in for.

You mean the defining track of that game wasn't truly written for it? That's insane, that track IS FFX.

I've literally never heard of people judging people over text bubble color until random articles started coming out in 2022ish about people supposedly judging other people based on text bubble color, and it just so happened to coincide with the timeframe of when Google was pushing RCS the hardest.

I had to swap to green on black, which is fine, I like that one more, but blue on black remains inverted.

Well it seems to only affect blue and black. Switched to green and it looks how it should.

Most of his body was destroyed though IIRC so even if he went dormant instead of being completely dead it was more of the Devil Gene that took over and most of what is there now is made from technology. Either way he stopped being his regular self long ago.
