I stopped playing in early 2022 because I had just hit a wall with the higher end difficulty but to get the message that the game was ending was rather shocking to me.

I was originally planning on doing a touring company but I can change that for the multi-player game.

Well if we're slim we could probably let vlotch have a fed.

Server owner is able to see every channel but can specify channels per person. So essentially, whoever makes the server would be on the justice system. So this would very much work. Threads can only be made private to Nitro users, wa.

I've never intentionally opened a server and am not sure how to do so on purpose. Could just use DMs and pin lists made in those, or make separate threads for each list. ...no effective way to make said lists private for people that wanted those to *be* private/though.

You can make the threads private per person with the exception of the mod

I have set up a server before but I have never added a bot or know of one that does what we want it to do.

I am on discord for other servers more often than not. If you're tracking the draft on the google sheet, I don't see why you couldn't use both just knowing that you'll probably get faster responses on discord but don't want to discourage board users either. I know I am really only on the board anymore for this project.

How big of rosters are we thinking?

Reduced rate. If they are ADJACENT adjacent (US/CAN, US/MEX, UK/EUR) it's a -10, otherwise it's a -20, and all that stacks if it's multiple areas away (so in the UK the EUR guys are -10 and the US guys are -30). There are exceptions but that's the general formula.

So when we are building our feds, we should keep our regions in mind before placing our companies

Thought: for the *draft* I might just set everybody to speak all languages. Mixing and matching different stuff is like 75% of the fun, and having to deal with languages on top of people being less over outside their home area might be too much of a deterrent. Am I biased because I'm thinking of basing out of Europe where it is an especially big issue? Yes. Also thinking we'll set it so anybody can work anywhere.

This whole mod is kinda underpowered, I'm not looking to make FWA even harder than the base game <_<

That's a fantastic idea. How does the popularity between regions work? Like if I am running a game in UK (RPGs) will the folks from Europe (Other Games) have 0 popularity or will they have their original popularity? Or a reduced rate since that is a neighboring community. Same for like the US (Anime)?

I just went ahead and caught up yesterday instead of spreading it out, I think even the 3/day I have on my hard days is gonna be tough so I gotta make hay while the sun shines on my days off. (but it was the Koopalings so I could do a lot of copy/paste lol)

Man we're almost done here! We can start thinking about how FWA is gonna work. I think we keep the Mystery Boxes, but maybe eliminate the bad ones, the ones that interact with other players, and the ones that screw with the actual draft part. I'm not sure it really worked out having the two different sizes of feds, maybe let everybody draft a Big fed even if they're not actually gonna play, make ALL draft picks exclusive written, and I'll assemble some small NPC feds with the leftovers.

I think I'll also have a separate save file going with the main mod, which means my 2009 road to glory is never gonna get anywhere lol. Thinking about a gimmick where I have 48 different rules (like "all tag matches," or "one of your jobbers wins a match"), and I apply a different one at random before I book each week's show.

I have been lurking here for months for this moment lol
