The best part about Christie's DPOV is that someone on their side of the house does have to win the veto for it to be used. Which isn't a large preventative measure BUT it at least helps. But that's obviously worst case scenario. The real question is if Cliff can get the underdogs together to take a shot.

Its really scary how accurate that video is. People won't stop. People won't quit, not enough to be effective anyways. Survivor's lifespan is too long now for it. It is still insanely cheap to produce, it still does really well in the key demo, often winning it's time slot. And my favorite thing that it said was "it doesn't matter" because there is absolutely no pleasing everyone with this show. Even DvG had its detractors. And plus, for production, they do have backup in case we get an All-Stars or GC scenario where all the stars go home early.

The beat case scenario for us now is that they learned their lesson and they won't give the half idol anymore, at least at the final 6 AND that the players police themselves and kill whoever comes in at 6.

I really wanted to play with some of the great players that signed up for this game but 5 and a half topics is just too many to catch up on when I really only get to do indepth reading at work. Plus, I have my brother's bachelor party this weekend, a buddy's wedding the weekend after, I'll be gone the week after that, and I'm in the middle of open enrollment at work which is a crazy time in my department. It was a mistake to sign up but I really wanted to play with you guys. The game just started much sooner than I was prepped for. Ugh. I feel really guilty.

Ike is just so far and away the main character in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn that his addition made so much sense. I felt Robin was unique enough. So like the mistakes is Roy at that point but the game with Lyn/Hector/Eliwood hasn't come out yet for Melee. Obviously we don't NEED Chrom/Lucina but watcha going to do. So Corin was the first chance to do some thing differently.
