Agree with Mid Fodder for Bidoof and High Fodder for Cosmic Mario.

High Fodder is my vote on Krillin. He is kind of the butt monkey of the DBZ series, but he is also oddly relatable and gets a lot of focus, in addition to being an iconic character in his own right. It helps that Yamcha is a bigger butt monkey than him as well. Krillin also has some popular DBZ Abridged memes.

I think it's about time to introduce a way to get characters up for a reranking, who may have been over or under-ranked in the past or have had new developments that would affect their contest strength. Users will be able to nominate one character per day for reranking, and I ask that they provide reasoning for why they should be reranked. Once a character has 3 votes, they will be eligible for a reranking. One character per day will be put up for a reranking.

I will start off by nominating Jeff Probst for reranking, on the basis that he is actually pretty well-known among the demographic of Gfaqs. Also the LAW Fodder ranking was being thrown around lightly by voters that day, including myself.

Agree with LAW Fodder for Adam and Mid Fodder for R.O.B. A lot of people don't even know who Adam is, and those who do are very likely to anti-vote him. R.O.B. has never appeared in a contest despite being present in the last 3 smash games, so one can conclude Gfaqs doesn't care about him. He is mid fodder due to being recognizable and in smash, but that's it.

Peter is Mid Fodder. Quite a few voters will have nostalgia for the earlier seasons of Family Guy, in which Peter was a bumbling yet dedicated father and husband. But later seasons flanderized him into a bumbling selfish jerk. That along with the decreased quality of the show will hurt him some, but Peter is recognizable enough that I think he stays above low fodder.

Mid Fodder for Freddy. He's an icon of horror, but he honestly hasn't been hugely relevant since the early 90s. Most of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies are a bit too old for Gfaqs to have reliably seen, and its been almost 10 years since the reboot movie (and it was terrible anyway). He'll beat low fodder based purely on being recognizable and having SOME fans thanks to his snarky personality, but that's it.

Mid Fodder for Poochy. Not because I think the site cares much about the Yoshi games, but because he's a cute dog (presumably).

I will just barely give High Fodder to Reptile. In the Gfaqs poll from a few years ago he placed slightly behind Johnny Cage and ahead of Liu Kang. He was a secret character in the first MK and playable in MK2, which I think makes him a bit more memorable than the rest of the pack. Plus he had the classic and popular MK ninja design in those games, and in fact, was the first in the line of palette-swapped ninjas following Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

I will say Mid Fodder for all. Fiora is well-liked but Xenoblade characters not named Shulk have not done well in contests. Everyone knows Koopa Troopa but no one cares about him. Dr. Light has a bit of popularity due to his mentor role in the game to Mega Man and post-humorously to X. Also everyone knows him as the creator of Mega.

Jeanne: Mid Fodder - Bayonetta 2 didn't look awful in 2015, and should be even stronger now. Jeanne's design is similar enough to Bayo's that she should get some benefit from TJF/general sex appeal, so there's only so much weaker I'd expect her to be.

Mara: Low Fodder - Mainline SMT is niche even on GameFAQs, and Mara isn't significant enough to defy that.

I will change my ranking on Jeanne to Mid Fodder.

Mara has been in all of the Persona RPGs so I don't think it matters much that mainline SMT is very niche here.

I will agree with Low Fodder for Jeanne, and say Mid Fodder for Mara and Scarecrow.

Mara is a d**k on a f**king chariot and thus one of the most popular individual personas/monsters in the SMT series. However only its appearances as a persona will matter here, and Mara is typically a late-game persona, so it is less well-known than lower level monsters like Jack Frost. And while Mara has a VERY memorable design, not all voters will care for the green boi.

Scarecrow is mid fodder because his appearance and role in Batman Arkham Asylum was very memorable, and he also appeared in all 3 of the Dark Knight trilogy, albeit with a minor role in TDK and Rises. His appearances in other media are often memorable, due to forcing Batman and others to face their greatest fears to beat him. I definitely would not say he is weaker than the Mad Hatter, Croc or Clayface. Assuming he gets a pic from Arkham Asylum, and not something terrible like Arkham Knight.

High Fodder for C-3PO and Kimahri. Threepo is iconic and has been in basically every main series film. Some people like him, but I don't think he is overly popular. Kimahri stands out from the FFX cast due to his size and appearance, but I think people are pretty lukewarm on him overall. You never really hear him talked about by fans.

Young Link I will say is Near-Elite for similar reasons as Toon Link. He won't be nearly as strong as regular Link due to some voters favoring different incarnations of him. And Young Link only appeared in Majora's Mask and half of OoC. I don't think smash gives much of a boost to him either.

Mid Fodder for Star-Lord and Bartz, Low Fodder for Agro. Star-Lord is too much of a normal guy to stand out much in the MCU, and I think he'll get some anti-votes as a result of his actions in Infinity War. Bartz is recognizable by name unlike the Warrior of Light, but FFV is a pretty obscure entry in the series, so he'll mostly be relying on Dissidia for his votes. Gfaqs loves SotC, but do they love it enough to vote for a realistic-looking horse? I think the answer is no - I doubt a realistic horse will get "cute animal" votes. Mostly people who really love SotC will be voting for the horse here.

Birdo I will say is High Fodder due to her association with Yoshi and the well-known gender disparity between Japan and other regions. She is also a mainstay in Mario spinoff games. Also she just seems like the type of odd character that would get joke votes to me.

Ninten is Mid Fodder, mostly thanks to his resemblance to Ness. I don't see him being worth much on his own.

Low Fodder for Wander. He's been in several contests and got blown out every time.

Mid Fodder for Andross. Everyone knows him and he might get some "joke" votes if his SNES boss form is used as a pic. But no one will care much beyond that.

High Fodder for Metroid, bordering on fodder line. It is the namesake of the series and is very memorable due to appearing in every game. However I feel that it will only get votes out of respect for the series since it is a generic enemy, and might even see some anti-votes because of how annoying they are to deal with in certain games.

High Fodder for Bender, same as Fry. He may not be the "lead" character of the series but he has literally dozens of memes associated with him. He's 30% memes!

Agree with Low Midcarder for Yoda and Dr. Mario. Yoda is iconic and instantly recognizable for his appearance and unique speaking pattern. And of course the memes.

Mid Fodder for Jason. I think horror is a bit bigger on the site than we are giving credit for (enough so that I think Mike Meyers should be mid), and Jason is an iconic character thanks to his hockey mask and chainsaw. I think some people are even fans of the supremely cheesy Friday the 13th movies. But not many people will care about Jason's (lack of) character.

Big Rig is going to be LAW Fodder. Not many people are actually going to get the "joke" here, and even those who do get it are unlikely to vote for a terrible-looking truck over an actual character. It still might beat Dancin' though.

Fry is High Fodder due to the memes and the fact that Futurama was a very popular show among the demographic of the site - the Futurama game won't make a difference. Shut Up and take my Vote!

I thought Clank had made a contest before but apparently not since I can't find him. On the basis of Clank having stronger associations with the Ratchet and Clank than fellow sidekick Daxter, I will say Mid Fodder for him. I also think he's better liked than the annoying weasel.

Green Goblin: Mid Fodder. "'cause he's wearing that dumb Power Rangers mask - but he's scarier without it on." Yeah, a Spider-Man villain isn't going to amount to much. Nobody really cares for Spider-Man antagonists the way they do for Batman nemeses, so he's naturally among the weakest of those.

Toon Link: Elite. May be the Saturday Morning version, but he's still Link. He's not going to beat Link Link, but he'll still be able to beat Solid Snake or Mega Man.

Olimar: Mid Fodder. His prior matches corroborate this. He's in Smash, so by rule he can't be Low Fodder because of recognition, so yeah.

Agree with all ratings. Green Goblin is mostly just remembered for the first Raimi Spider-Man movie, which had it's fair share of memorable moments and cheesy lines from Norman. Toon Link is definitely capable of beating some Elite-tier characters.
