It is a part of the whole movement that surrounds banning every flavored version of a controlled substance (started with banning flavored tobaccos). Now it has seeped into alcohol with people pushing to ban all fruit and sweet flavored alcohols claiming they only exist to target children. Flavored vodka's, rums, beer, apple cider, ect seems to be what they are targeting.

It is from the type of people who think flavored anything = targeting children. For example, those same people are now trying to get flavored vodka's banned because they claim they are targeted only to children and just to get kids to buy booze.

Why should they be charged?

Your supposed to stop once your no longer in danger. If you are able to beat them to death, at some point your life is not in danger anymore and the balance of power shifts. If you keep attacking you stop being a self defending victim and turn into a murderer

Incidents like these aren't cut and dry like this. We are talking about a man that forced their way into someone's home at 3AM and got into a physical altercation. Your summary of the situation is completely ignoring the fear (and likely fatigue) of awakening to a burglary attempt. Not to mention the adrenaline of the whole thing.

We don't know all of the details; especially not enough to say whether or not they should be charged.

For all they know, it could have been some maniac breaking in to murder and rape the family, I mean it is not like that kind of thing has never happened before. People have a right to defend themselves in their homes from crazed criminals who consciously commit violent crimes against them.

If you don't want to get killed breaking into someone's home, here's an idea: don't break into people's homes.

I don't want to sound like an elitist but this whole mobile clicking and dragging units doesn't count as RTS to me.

Same here. It reminds me of the way city builders got completely ruined on the mobile platform, turning them into these grinds where it is all about waiting forever to build anything unless you pay up, where clicking currency that pops up over everything somehow counts as gameplay.

Mods always seem to hassle me once in a while over something stupid that isn't even an offense. There is zero accountability for the moderators around here, they just do whatever they want regardless of if it is breaking any rules or not. I have seen a lot of moderators straight up make up new rules on the spot.

I wasn't aware that there were RTS games for the Switch.

Also I hate being reminded of that mobile C&C game that is coming out. I felt like it was just EA digging up C&C and then spitting on it again.

Yeah I mean I just feel like that style of RTS is becoming rather popular lately, and it seems to completely lack most of what made RTS strategic.

Examples?

For me 1v1 small maps work good but I prefer medium. I just don't like it when tournaments have 1v1s on a four player map.

There is a few of them them showing up on the Switch lately, and the new Command and Conquer game is going to be designed like that.

When I say it's a fix map I mean it doesn't scroll or move, the entire map fits on your screen. You see your enemies base and their units the entire time, and they are always a short distance away from you.
