I think the consensus is that Starbound has the better exploration aspect, but I'm not sure if that still holds given all the new updates Terraria has had.

There are some big mods for Starbound as well but I don't think they solved the combat issue with the game, which is pretty much lacking.

I'm not sure if Starbound has received any big updates, last I played this game was back in 2018 apparently

I really do suck at deck building games. When I saw the Downfall expansion mod in the workshop, my first thought was "damn, that's impressive. I definitely want to check it out."

I've only played Sims 2, and that was years ago. I know Sims 4 is free-to-play, but I've actually yet to play it at all.

And on Sims, it seems the consensus is that Sims 3 is the better game gameplay-wise, but the game performance has aged horribly, which is unfortunate because I'm not sure if I want to sink in that much time in an inferior game.

Rimworld looks interesting, I'll definitely check it out one day.
