This game updates far too frequently imo. I'm like 5 major updates behind now and trying to play it is like trying to learn it all over again. Doesn't help that I've already played the game to death so it's not nearly as enjoyable as the first time around.

I think when you disable the unnecessary/unwanted "features" of 8, 10, and 11 they are at least as good as 7. The problem is that those "features" are forced on you and there's no intuitive way to remove them.

Linux really is better than Windows in every way...except software support. Wine isn't going to play most triple A games, nor will it run most modern proprietary software, and the FOSS alternatives aren't even in the same realm. I used Slackware exclusively for years and I still use Manjaro on my laptop, but I got tired of not being able to play the vast majority of PC games that I want to play. Dual-booting is out of the question because I'd rather not be constantly rebooting my computer. Luckily with the pro edition of 8/10/11 you can easily disable telemetry bullshit and forced updates.

Many of the best shows I've seen don't really grab me until several episodes in. Not a good idea to quit a show because it doesn't immediately captivate you. Often times it takes longer than that. IMO

It may not be a horror game but I'm pretty sure no horror game has scared me quite the way Subnautica did the first time I was grabbed and eaten by a reaper leviathan out of nowhere. It was just a peaceful craft 'em up game up until that happened.

Man, what a great episode. Now I'm kind of curious how the show deviated from the original story as far as those two characters go.

Skyrim is an immersive sim. Play it like such and you can have tons of fun with it. Install hi res texture & mesh replacers, a weather & lighting overhaul, and enb shaders, and it can look amazing as well.

She's just a bitch 24/7 with no off button. Constantly being a downer. But it is always satisfying the way she handles their enemies. Also her interactions with the vegan woman have been hilarious. I actually like Jamie a lot because I find him to be one of the more interesting and nuanced characters. He obviously deeply regrets the thing he did to make Beth hate him so much, but Beth is always too full of herself to ever realize it or care. I like Kacey a lot too because I think he's the most relatable and down to earth character.

I love this show but I find her to be by far the most insufferable character on it. Hard to believe anybody actually likes her. Even in all the flashbacks to when she was younger she's still the least likeable person on the show.

Never been a big fan but I know they have a few songs I like. So does Nickelback though so that's not saying much.

They obviously fixed the worst of the stuttering issues as this game was nearly unplayable for most people on launch. When I played it I didn't notice any stuttering, and I always notice that shit. So either this doesn't affect everyone like some people are claiming, or the stuttering is so minor and infrequent that it's a total non-issue.

I've always heard great things about the sopranos but I know what the ending is so that might interfere with my enjoyment.

I don't think that will ruin anything because the show is all about the characters and storylines. Highly recommend. Deadwood and Carnivale are good HBO shows too.
