Oh yeah, I forgot about Seal, I thought he would just melee attack. But yeah, that was the initial plan, until I cut off his advance with Ramza and Indy, so he retreated. This made my other characters' first turns useless and screwed me. Just a dumb move on my part, but UGH stupid Wiegraf. The good thing is that, as a monk, I have chakra which restores 80 hp (lightning stab hits for 70), so I can charge up and still heal myself when I'm outta his range for a turn. Then punch him a couple times and get to Velius. But thanks for that reminder!

Ugh **** you Wiegraf/Velius.

Rubber shoes don't block his lightning stab, so I turn Ramza into a monk, play some cat and mouse with Wiegraf (and accumulating a few times), and eventually take him out.

Then Velius. Both Ramza and Indy the ninja rush up and land about 400 combined damage on him. But I realize too late that I blocked Velius from rushing down the ramp, so he retreats and starts casting Cyclops. So I rendered my other party members useless, and Clops kills Ramza and Indy. Then he comes closer and starts casting again. Agrias hits him with a lightning stab (but silence didn't happen), Yeager hit him with a spear, and Dennis started casting, but those damn Ultima Demons and their dark holy.

Back to try it in a little bit again...

UGH. Found a stupid Pidgey and took a shot at getting an Unown. OF COURSE NOT. Freakin CHEYNE used Confusion twice and the Unown was in orange health so I threw a Pokeball and it didn't stay in so I used Tackle because I knew it wouldn't kill the Unown, just weaken it more.

Unless of course you get a critical hit.

Should have seen that coming.

On the other hand, woo Butterfree! At least that's useful for the first bit of the game, though if you get far enough, I can see me getting boxed.

Well, the Harbowl is a heavenly matchup for the media, that's for sure.

That being said, the Giants are on a real roll right now. Going to be an interesting game at Candlestick (it's still called that right?) next weekend!

Just did the Orbonne Monastary battles. First one was annoying because of the 3 lancers, but Dennis Ramuhed their asses. Was a little lengthy but not too bad.

I believe the next battle was the Izlude fight. Killed the summoner on the first turn when Indy double cut him. Izlude was being a ***** and jumping on people rather than fighting me face to face, so I went around the map killing everyone else. Chipped away at his healthy and finally won.

Heading back up, the fight against Wiegraf was dirt easy. He rushed in and hit 3 of my characters with stasis sword, but no one got paralyzed. Indy double cut him, Ramza took a swing, Yeager (now a lancer) stabbed him with a spear, and Agrias hit him with a lightning stab. Dennis didn't even get a turn...

Now heading to Riovanes to attempt to get Alma back, and deal with Wiegraf/Velius. Just won the Grog Hill battle, that was quite easy. Next, Yardow Fort City. I think this is where Malak and Rafa are introduced to battles. **** you Rafa, you better not be a dumb ***** and get killed all the time again...

I've played through it a bunch as well, and could likely help out! I'm a completionist when it comes to side quests and such (<3 chocobo hot n cold), though I may be a little foggy on some items. But yeah, if you do this, I'll help wherever I can!!

Note: Vivi's octagon rod in disc 3 on that northern continent in that stupid city near the mountain. Didn't get it in my first ever playthrough, missed out on firaga, blizzaga and thundaga :(

Good call.

Got to the Coal city and had to save Olan from thieves and such. Goddamn chick thieves and steal heart UGGGHHHH!! Then the second time, I was down to one thief left, and she killed Olan on the turn before I would kill her. Massacred them on the third try. Embarrassing that it took that long to kill them, but meh.

Me and Olan went our separate ways. Got to Lesalia, Zalbag called Ramza a traitor or something and defended Dycedarg. We meet up with Alma, and get attacked by Zalmo, some heresy dude. This fight is amusing, because it's not that hard at all. Dennis, my summoning wizard, and his thunder rod aided Ramuh rampaged. Having magic attack up as an ability likely helped. Indy the ninja now has ninja swords and ****ed up the monks. Alma cast Mbarrier on Ramza and he took down two of the knights. Easy battle.

Now to Orbonne to get the holy stone that's supposedly there.

Back from my winter vacation for a few days, and finally got back to playing FFT last night.

Left off at Lionel Castle, so I got to do that. Took a couple tries (only Gafgarion left, but my monk ninja crystallized), but got it done. Had my ninja go right in front of the summoner and punch him twice (martial arts ability) which took him to critical health. Then brought my summoner in black mage garb, and Ramuh'd their asses (he has a thunder rod, so the damage is kicked up).

Then inside Lionel, to do battle with Draclau who turns into Queklain. Basically, it's do as much damage to him as you can, as quickly as you can. His nightmare attack is super annoying, but it never confused any of my characters at least.

Now to start chapter 3, on the way to see Zalbag at uhhh, Lesalia? Or was it Zeltennia. I don't know. Goland Coal City first.

So if the Bears somehow find a Christmas miracle tonight and beat the Packers, then beat the AP-less Vikings next week, and have the Falcons lose their last two..........the Bears could get in.





Unfortunately, the Bears won't beat the Pack, and Atlanta won't lose to Tampa next week, because Tampa ****ing sucks. Oh Cutler, if only you stayed healthy....

So I'm still going through FFT and finally got to Golgorand. Obviously, this one gave me issues everytime I've played through it, but I was well on my way to beating it the first time around. Except I'm a ****ing moron, and moved Ramza to a place where Yeager (knight) couldn't use a phoenix down on Dennis (summoner), so he crystallized. Literally was down to a critical hp archer, and Gafgarion. Ugh was super pissed.

Tried it a second time and didn't set it up right, so I was getting beat pretty good. Will try it again and win today. Can't believe I screwed myself that first time.... :(

Eh, normally I'd agree because I like epic RPG battles (my first ever battle against the final boss of FF VIII when I was a lot younger for instance), but we fight him twice more I believe, and he has all of his stuff there. Besides, with Delita on my side and only knights on his, this battle isn't very challenging anyway...

Well, in my mind anyway.

In any case, Zeakden beated. I had Indy as a thief for some reason the whole time and was wondering why I kept losing. Great move, jump, and speed, but couldn't deal out much damage. So I turned him into an archer (with move+2 and battle boots, so his move was still 7 or so), and sent him on top of the fort to rain down arrows. Also turned my summoner back to a black mage but kept him with summoning magic, and spammed Shiva twice. Aww yeah Algus dead.

Just saved Boco the chocobo (and already have a black chocobo in my party, with another egg about to hatch), had Gafgarion turn on me (unequipped him before it happened, I've played this game many times....), and saved Mustadio. Ramza is still a monk (I want hamedo as an ability), Yeager is still a knight (with over 200 hp, not sure what to change him into), Indy is now a ninja with martial arts, so he's double punching people, and Dennis is my summoner. Awww yeah :)

Knox out with a sickening looking injury. He bent right over backwards when he got hit trying to get his own fumble. That could be a devastating injury for him, hope he's ok.

Also, since the Bears O can't do anything, the D obviously has to score. Peppers strip sack, Idonije recovery in the end zone!

This has inspired me to play FFT again!! Love that game, beaten it probably close to 10 times. Just finished Dorter and the desert. Ramza is still a squire (just mastered it, gained JP up ftw!!), Yeager is my knight, other guy (can't remember his name) is a monk, while Dennis is a black mage. Dorter gave me problems the first time, because the knight had item. Hit one wizard into critical with one shot, knight healed him, wizard kills guy. Hit other wizard into critical with one shot, knight healed HIM, wizard kills guy. Ugh.

Easier second time around, as the knight had charge, and I murdered the wizards ASAP.
