I don't mean this to sound snotty but it sounds that way in my head....so, how do you plan to get published?

Well I've been publishing poetry to the internet for a few years to good results, but I want to make a book out of it. However I feel some of it might have been plagiarized so I plan on making a personal book out of the poetry I've written, but not making money out of it. I know it sounds dumb but it's true.

After I have the book in hand and the project is done, I plan on continuing my writing career by going to school for graphic design. That's my dream :)

Sounds good to me. Can't you check the ones you are concerned about for plagiarism somehow? Why not illustrate it too if you are interested in graphic design.

It might cost me, but I will do my best to check for plagiarism. It's my foot in the door and my aspirations are not that high but I want to complete the project before I work on the next. My plan is to write books, which I'm already good at, and design my own cover pages, which I need work but that's life and it's a lifelong journey towards personal success :)

That if we find aliens GOD doesn't exist. Because they aren't in the bible.....now I am a Christian but I honestly feel Christians put way too much focus on the bible. Yeah it is an important text and it shows how GOD used to interact with us and ways people have dealt with him. Sure some stuff may be a little metaphorical but it isn't the end all be all. I feel people put the bible above GOD himself sometimes. Like they worship a book and not GOD.

Yes true, but GOD didn't put down every single detail about everything. So just because GOD didn't have us write down that aliens on other planets exist, doesn't mean that GOD doesn't exist. He just chose not to tell us. The notion that if GOD went against something in the bible or decided against something (like the rapture) people like my friend would consider GOD not real. Which is just silly to me. GOD is above all and GOD can choose to go a different course when he wants too. Just like how no christian follows the mosaic law.

Of course the bible shows how GOD interacted with others and how he explains things. You get a glimpse of GOD's character and personality. When i read the bible, you can feel GOD's shift of temperament and how he has come to see us. How he interacts with us. GOD is ever changing. But of course others won't agree with this because when people think of something perfect, they think it just stays the same. But i argue that GOD is perfect because he changes his ways, because he cares and loves us, and has come to understand his creation in a amazing way. Yes GOD is omnipotent but GOD lives in the now and GOD always has the final word.

The bible is his word but he is able to override it at anytime. He can always make a new covenant. My point is that people see the bible as set in stone, when it has much more meaning and purpose then taking everything literal and too the T no matter what. GOD is more then just words and I feel people really miss out on this fact, since they seem to worship the bible more then GOD.

From my understanding, God is the author of all life and stories. If he were to tell us everything he planned from the beginning, we would become the author and change everything ourselves. I believe God has spoken through his word all that will occur, and no other being can know these secrets. Without the bible, mankind would be doomed to annihilation and destruction but those destined to see the light in their journey towards holiness are the ones he has chosen to dwell with him for eternity; these are the ones who heed the lessons and warnings from the bible. Nothing worldly can last for eternity, but the spirit only dies when it is extinguished by sin and insanity.

God has always been righteous, that doesn't mean he has no right to be angry or disappointed with us. We were made in God's image not just physically but spiritually moreso, and the destruction and wrath he has poured out on certain people has always been justified. But I do agree that God is ever-changing, that's why it would be nice to hear from some real present-day prophets, of course they would be massively denounced by atheists.

I trust in Jesus' word moreso than my own thoughts as I am not holy and he is. Jesus is the saviour of mankind because he is blameless and his words are purer than anything else the world has to offer. If you just read what Jesus said and did, you might be impressed.

Eternal life is the point, and a world without fear and sin. Paradise, that's what us believers want. Sinners love this world because they exploit it, and the good at heart suffer when they see all the evil around them. We cannot kill the sinner, bloodshed only leads to more blood and peace would never be achieved. That's who so many Christians choose martyrdom. The meaning of life is to become enlightened, which can only be done if God smiles upon you. Once you're enlightened, you will see that eternal life is what you desire.

For me, I would tell myself that you're about to meet the love of your life in high school and for the love of God, don't fuck it up (which I did).

I would also tell myself to play less video games, be more alert of your surroundings and take easier courses. Beat the crap out of a lot of bullies also, and be more straight up with your parents about your general problems so they can help.

Personally I am fully on the side of Israel in this conflict. Palestinians and all muslims are a threat to everyone who won't submit to Islam. When will liberals and islam apologetics see this? Looks like rock/metal takes the cake on gamefaqs. I love metal, but would like to know the appeal rock or metal has on others. For me, it pumps me up and makes me feel alive. Also of all the genres, it is the most like medicine Imo because it's powerful and makes me feel like I'm not alone with my pain.

You didnt go to a counselor, or seek help from friends or other family? Or at least tell the police? It sounds like you didn't explore your options and just expected someone to figure it out. Sometimes, you have to help yourself first before others can help you. And picking up smoking was your bad decision.

I suppose it was mental illness that stopped me from doing those things, namely depression, anxiety and addiction. Depression because I couldn't come to terms with my own past, anxiety because I had no trust in anyone, and addiction as a form of escape from it all. I wanted to die, and on top of it I was harassed by my parents every day about why my grades were not good. I could handle either school or bad home life, but not both at the same time.
