No. My sister is a doctor at a local, large hospital and she said, last time I asked, that they have had no cases in hospital. She said what was bad is that everyone admitted early in the pandemic died.

That being said, we had a very close friend to die of it last year. He was unvaccinated and so stubborn that he didn't tell anyone he was ill until the night before he died at home. I was told his last words were," I can't believe this is happening."

I'm a curious about what study this came from? Who is the "They" who is giving this number? Wouldn't it depend upon where you live, not only in the USA but elsewhere? Also, it depends on what kind of collapse.

There are so many different southern accents though. I'm southern and I have a definite accent. I wouldn't define it as the charming deep south. That sounds just as odd to me as someone from way north. Not bad, I don't hate any accent ( I find them fun and interesting), just definitely not my way of pronouncing words.

Roosters and goats but the worse was a dog that our new neighbors had that attacked me while I was walking up to the barn to feed my horse when I was a kid. I'm still a bit standoffish when it comes to dogs.

Grey hairs....my first at 29. I guess the darker your hair is the more they show up? I have a friend who started to go grey at 18.

I live on a farm 12 miles from town. Lots of places pretty to walk but with all the cows you gotta watch your step. In happy here, pretty and quiet on this mountain so in my POV it is pretty close to top tier.

Yes. Lori Maddox was a super groupie who was with many of the rock stars back in the day. There were other well known groupies along with the Plaster Caster girls as well. Weird and wrong things during the 70's.

The travel is suspicious but unknown. I am more concerned with stating that he has a 14 year old girlfriend as a fact because that brings up a lot more questions.

Same. I think it might have been said more often in my great grandpa's day and before but it is more used in other countries to describe Americans in a joking way.

It stormed like a big dog here. Lots of rain, flooding, tornadoes touching down and power outages. So I just stayed in.

I have it. As Jen and others said above, antibiotics have a lot to do with it. The really bad part of the antibiotics is the possibility of developing C Diff. I've had it 3 times which then led to developing IBS.

I mostly played with toy farm animals or Breyer horses.

We are allowed so many deer a year. We keep some in the freezer. I bought some beef burger the other day and realized I haven't had to for well over a year. Deer is much more lean than beef. I am hoping we get a couple when gun season opens. It helps with the grocery bills.

The problem with online recipes is that you have to read a whole self indulgent autobiography before you scroll down to what you are there for. "Jump to recipe" is one of the greatest things ever.

It all depends on personal preferences but you can find some good online recipes for a slow cooker. I have mine saved on Pinterest although that site is annoying.

A good idea is to write them down. I had a favorite bookmarked but the whole site was removed so get a grandma recipe box.

Peanut butter M&Ms.

I live where we don't see trick or treaters. But, we had our own little Halloween party for the family kids last night. Because of the pandemic we were not able to trick or treat last year so we had a little party. Also one child ( there are only 2), has treenut and peanut allergies so this way we know all candies are safe.
Anyway, I guess this will be a yearly thing. The kids played games and got prizes and had loads of fun. One was a black cat and the little boy was Super Sayain Goku.

Spring and especially summer as a kid. I practically lived in the pool each summer. I have never been on a diving board as good as our low board there :(. Now I think I like fall best.
