I don't think our resources will last unless some miracle inventions happen, which usually take dire need. It's gonna get bad before we manage our water...

I switched back to white a long time ago. My mom used to buy the stuff growing up. I've always preferred white.

Jam all the way and strawberry over grape. Though i wouldn't say no to either.
Cherry preserves are like cheating when it comes to taste cause they're so good!
I switch off between crunchy and smooth. I want to say i prefer crunchy, but I'll crave some smooth peanut butter though.

You all fixated on how old a woman looks really lack depth. Like, yeah, people can be attracted to youth. As you get older, you'll realize that what comes out of their mouths and what they think is more important. Someone who looks 13 but is 31, is gonna talk and think much more differently than someone who is actually 13.

Never really knew tempo of songs is such a thing for a half time show.
Last i checked, the national anthem and God bless America isn't exactly high tempo and some people love that stuff!

In the short run, it'll lead to tokenism where superfluous characters are added to inflate the numbers. That's no big deal because writers will start finding ways to make characters matter as soon as they're called out on tokenism. What annoys me about the scenario is that it limits the stories that can be told.

If they want to make an animated series based off of Beauty and the Beast, 18th century France is suddenly going to have larger Black and Asian populations because, "If magic beasts and talking teacups can exist, why can't they?" If Belle's best friend is Asian and the royal captain of the guard is Black, I could still accept that this is 18th century France through an idyllic lens. But if you reimagine it so that ethnic French people make up less than 50% of the cast, you might as well set the story in Middle Earth, Eternia, or Hyrule. "French" is an architecture and not an ethnicity.

Or if you wanted a western, you would have two options. The first would be to run the story through a filter of a minority family living in the old west. The other would be to make them all talking animal characters so that more than half of the cast can be comprised of actors from underrepresented groups.

I think it would be better if they mandated that 80% of programs adhered to the < 50% rule. Anything set in the present could mandate inclusivity. Anything placed in a historical setting could be more homogenous, but the number of such stories would be limited to less than 20% (unless it's focusing on an underrepresented group) so that everything isn't an excuse for "a small White town in Kentucky circa 1950," "a predominantly White town in 1880s Texas," "Medieval England with a 90% White cast," etc.

I'm blanking on the Italian dude's name.

Definitely something that comes up when I talk about cooking shows with coworkers. So many people love cake decorating shows.

I watched Coffy and that was pretty good. I didn't really understand the blaxploitation genre, but now i do!
BTW, pluto has a bunch of these movies with not many ads and they'll be pretty brief, some like fifteen seconds about the Kick of Destiny.

Now i have new stuff to watch during black history month.

So freaking frustrated with this. I'm feeling hopeless.
Urgent cares can't do anything and idk if I should go to the emergency room.
I saw a chiropractor yesterday and it was starting to feel better, but it became so sore in the middle of the night that i was stretching around 1 or 2 am to try to relieve it.
So many places have odd hours. I like the clinic I saw, but they don't open until 2 pm on a Thursday.

Idk. My back hurts and it's a pain finding a decent clinic for an adjustment without odd hours. Feels like stress is making it worse, and dealing with it is stressful. I hope someone has some magic suggestion or something.
My spine is slightly curved and my hips are off.
