Sometimes. Like most who do have said, it depends on the game. Usually if I'm grinding, or it's a game with some down time, I'll have something on the TV. I'll actually catch myself pausing the game to catch something on TV and vice versa

Paradise is a good game but it's very different from the other games. And it really really needs a restart race option. I'm sure the PC version has a mod for that

Y'all confirm why I have no desire to see them. What's the point? No one really says they're better and most seem to be at best on par with the animated versions.

Maybe we'll get a decent live action Dragon Ball movie one day though...the Red Ribbon Army arc is gold.

You could synch to tv and radio broadcasts times.

Going back further I imagine life wasn't as appointment based as it is now and you get up with church or work bells syncing communities that probably didn't commute as much.
I imagine they used the sun a lot as well.

I've learned most late people don't plan or don't want to be on time. It's hilarious how often people who are close to their destination, push their luck and will be late. I know I'll do it for casual things, but important appointments, I aim for like 15 minutes of being early.

Lots of people drink soda, including my girlfriend. She worries about plastic use and we try to cut down where we can.
That's where you guys come in!
I want to get her something along the lines of a soda stream and I want to know what you guys think is best.
I want to consider ease of ordering cartridges and potentially replacing the reusable bottles.
Is soda stream the best or just the best known?
I know it doesn't work out financially too much to make your own soda sometimes, but as long as it's not like $3 a bottle or something, that's fine. I myself switched over to drinking more kool aid and juice concentrates, since those are mainly in paper and I have a pitcher to mix them in but she's not into juice or kool aid much herself.

Thanks for the help guys!

It's cool keeping up with the wait and seeing latest games. I wish I was older cause I've lost interest in the direction gaming has gone, but it was fun keeping up with things as I could. Basically late ps2 until the end of ps3 was when I was really keeping up with gaming. I would have loved to be like 20 around 1990 with no kids, and kept up with gaming and how amazingly it evolved around that time.
Now I go and play games I missed, and it's a different feeling looking for a game rather than waiting for a game to release. It's always magic though to play something original or get into a game series you've never played.
The dreamcast launch was one I missed but looked upon with big eyes. Who could forget that whale? Getting an xbox was a let down shortly into the system, but my brothers loved it. The controller really was...meh. my brothers played the dreamcast, but towards the end of its cycle and so much pso, so, I stuck with ps1/2.

How is black lives matter political? That confuses me these days. It sounded political, but only the opposition makes it seem that way.
It's people saying they should be treated as people. That's...like basic society stuff.
So, I support it. I also support whatever the dev wants to put in there. I wouldn't suggest hate speech or something, but it definitely fits in some games.

Yes, the basis behind that line of thinking is that profits for the company must always be maximized at the expense of providing a decent wage for workers. If people who run massive corporations were willing to take a small pay cut or--god forbid--not expect massive growth every year and be satisfied with stable revenue, then it would be easy to pay everyone a lot of money. But we don't live in a society that values economic stability. We value growth. Only growth. Become as rich as possible no matter the cost.

Gotta pay those stock holders to secure their future :/

It's a broken system and I sadly hear ALL these arguments, but less of the intelligent ones. People go so far as to say to not raise minimum wage cause another employee worked years for that and it's not fair. That is how clearly people will think of themselves but not a second longer. Why fight someone when you're losing nothing? That's just greedy.

Well then that type of plan needs to be figured out before locking things down and not after the fact. You cant just force a business to close and say tough titties when they go into deep debt and have close down permanently.

Well yeah. You can't relieve a business that's completely gone. I don't believe I was insinuating anything differently.

I think you might be misunderstanding replacing with getting rid of. Nobody is going to get rid of Medicare and Medicaid style programs. The government basically had a monopoly over this type of health care, and it has become costly and inefficient with all the bloat. By replacing, not get rid of, them with something privatized, we can actually achieve a better health care system.

How's that not replacing? How can you guarantee healthcare for retired (or of that age) folk through something privatized?
Even if healthcare is costly, it is health and should be worth it. It's dumb that medical treatment can be expensive and profitable, but ultimately health is what keeps us alive.

Lockdowns don't have to hurt small businesses. They can be granted relief, bailouts, tax cuts, etc.
We've seen that all before.
Working class people can also be given help. Seriously, if we have such a strong economy, it should be able to support and/or forgive itself. Maybe the US doesn't have a strong economy. Maybe it doesn't even want anything besides major monopolies like Amazon.

We've had so much legislation that may have worked, but we gotta keep thinking ahead, whichever direction people most wanna go though. If people want this virus to spread and act careless in the name of boredom and lack of patience, then that may just have to happen. It's almost worse trying to use caution and listening to reason and science while allowing these people "freedom" to force their opposing views on others. Both sides are frustrated currently.

I really hope everyone votes. We need opinions, a lot of them. I just hope most people vote for what's right instead of voting to be right.

True! He's up there with him though.
The respect Obama had, his articulation, and so much about him was professional. He seemed to care while also being somewhat typical and down to earth.
The amount that media expanded and the progression of mentality during Obama years is vast as well. A lot of smaller groups of people could really open up and show that they care and need care like gay people and basically a lot of non-white people.
He really expanded America's image of diversity for his presidency. It's a bit more shrunk now but the people are still there.

He really tried. It's hard to not respect that guy and he was a pleasure to listen to deliver speeches.
