A couple years ago there was a big deal about the sugar free Haribo gummi bears giving people catastrophic gastrointestinal issues if they were consumed in large quantities because they used maltitol as the artificial sweetener. |

Looking at the votes for Loughry (http://www.wvlegislature.gov/legisdocs/2018/2X/votes/house/00604.pdf) 26 of the Nays were Democrats and 1 was the Independent, so the majority of his support was not from his party. If you play around with the number of the PDF on that link you can find the counts other votes, but it is tough to tell what they are specifically for. |

There are only 15 in the US currently. |
