Oh phew. I was feeling downright crestfallen until seeing your post.

I'm all but convinced companies only update websites to screw with users, and shut down any exploits users might have found to make their viewing experience more comfortable. Like it used to be you could watch youtube videos that required a sign-in by simply adding a couple of slashes in the url. Now youtube has removed that convenient shortcut to force you to sign in.

I just hope they don't get rid of the method we use to turns shorts videos back to regular youtube videos, although it's bound to happen.

I didn't know that this became a running joke, don't know if the scrappy hate was mentioned in the series before the 2002 live action movie.

Since they frequently aired the 60s and 70s cartoons when I was a kid, I'd just watch all of them, from the originals to the ones where it's for some reason just Shaggy and Daphne and Scooby (red shirt Shaggy ever explained?) to finally Pup called Scooby, since the 90s was the apex of "Muppet babies" style cartoons. Some of which were great imo.

And you know what, the cartoons had Scrappy but they also had the equally annoying Scooby Dumb, and while I didn't really care for them, I never really got angry I just watched the show regardless. I once heard that the decision for the plot twist reveal in the 2002 movie was based on the supposed overwhelming fan hate towards Scrappy.

I kept it together until he just started walking away like nothing happened (while the movie's ominous theme music starts playing) and that sent me over the moon

Looking at their game library, I keep forgetting Level 5 were the ones behind nino kuni, a series I really really wanted to like if it was fun to play. The last RPG I played from them was Rogue Galaxy; if they had just fine tuned that battle system (which was in itself already an improvement over Dark Cloud) I would have been all over ninokuni, instead of the weird hybrid turn based battle system they had which was a worse FF 12/Xenoblade 1.

I do miss Layton from the DS era, was gonna see if they ported any of the post DS games on Switch so I can try them but I just found a spinoff with his daughter and it had kinda low reviews, didn't motivate me to get the game.

Feels like Level-5 could have been more prolific when they had a diverse library that ranged from puzzles to rpgs, but they're not really listed as up there with the other big devs

The thing is, all 3 have great chemistry and it makes sense when they're closer in age compared to the rest of the cast, just like in the show. But I single those 2 out because at the time Donald Glover just became so much more prolific and had to leave Community for his other shows like Atlanta, plus he had his music, even cameo'd in a spiderman movie in a nod to the initial idea of having him be spiderman 12 years ago (instead of the asm movies that we got)

Saw it when it aired originally and that epsiode was actually aired literally just before he passed away. I'm talking 1-2 weeks or so, so it was more like an omen/jinx. Though yeah, now that I think about it, since I didn't see the episode afterwards. It's pretty weird.

Lewis was in the finale, so they must have been able to shoot the entire season first before he passed. At least he finally got to have closure

Danny Pudi is in Mythic Quest on Apple TV+. He plays Brad, the monetizer at the developer of an MMORPG. He is fantastic as usual and the show is REALLY funny lol

I checked that show out last year and instantly liked it, was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. Stopped at season 1 and will watch the rest next year. Reminds me of Ted Lasso, both on Apple TV+ and both had a fantastic first season.

I recently rewatched this movie and also recently finished Barry season 4, and it never even occurred to me the similarities between the 2.

Grosse Pointe Blank is about a former army man turned professional assassin who feels something is missing, and also has a confidant played by a chubby funny man, this time Dan Akroyd. Barry fans, this sounding a little familiar?

It's also a great movie, John Cusack is likable in it and Minnie Driver is adorable as usual.

Was watching some behind the scenes and the show creator Kripke basically said they're making it up as they go along which worries me, I would have preferred a clear vision and at least a loose outline of the entire story. I get that it was Amazon Prime's most popular show, probably the only one before they hit it big with Invincible and even bigger with Fallout, but that's still no reason to drag it out.

The way season 3 ended felt the most egregious with this, just ridiculously contrived to make everything return to the status quo and have nothing really happen of importance to the overall story.

I still like season 9 better, where they had the fatwa dude interviewing all the characters Larry had interacted with and seeing it from Larry's point of view. That was a much more hilarious take on the Seinfeld finale. Navid Negabahn is a fantastic actor and I loved seeing him in Curb and on Legion.

I still rewatch Michael J Fox's scene to crack up every now and again. Love him so much.

They really redid the Seinfeld finale. And the worst part is, I ended up liking it. That ending was everything. Went from rolling my eyes to grinning and going "okay, that's kind of a nice twist"

He generally writes bad dialogue. Had nothing to do with her level of eloquence. He flat out would write lines that the original actors refused to read they were so bad.
