At first, I was one of the many who protested the decision to seal off CE forever. It seemed as arbitrary as the closure of the Politics board, and I thought that meant the downfall of this site. But to be honest, the downfall of this site began many years ago. I hate to say it, but GameFAQs does seem to attract a lot of trouble that would be better off never existing. I'm not just talking about things like the Missouri church burning or the Sydney gang rapes. There's even worse things like this:

That actually happened on RI, but close enough. Basically, their plot to commit a deadly mall mass shooting was foiled only by happenstance. The world is better off with terrorist attacks like that never happening. Imagine forever losing the lives of your family members due to somebody's selfish decisions like that. This was only narrowly averted. Yes, I do believe that CE should remain open, but I also believe that human life is more important and valuable. In my opinion, the quarantining of CE is but a small price to pay for something like the Halifax mass shooting to never have been planned.

What are we doing eating these animals? Those brush strokes are clearly not random; they definitely have some thought and creativity behind them. Pigs are way too intelligent for humans to eat, and this pig demonstrated that. Can't believe she died only a week ago. RIP

What happened to him? I haven't seen him post here in so many years, so it's like he disappeared or something. Did he finally get a girlfriend? Or is he still miserable that the world won't give him any friends?

I know that the dumbass is ancient history by this point, but how will society treat him now? What jobs are open to him now, like is his career totally ruined? Even after he gets out of prison, what is there left for him anymore?

I dont care that post #2 was sarcasm. Catalytic converter theft is a crime only for the absolute scum of the earth.

Yeah, it's kind of disturbing how some people could have so little sympathy for the victims of thousands of dollars of theft.

Didn't happen to me, but it happened to one of my coworkers in the parking lot. CCTV cameras caught two guys making off with a catalytic converter in just a few minutes. Not sure whether the police will be able to identify them based on the grainy video, but it's absurd how easy it is to steal that part of a car. Worst thing is that replacing it costs $2000 or more, and who has that kind of expendable income in this economy? Now I'm afraid of even parking my car at work because that amount of money is several times what I make in one day. >_>

Those were simpler times. Basically, a young couple traveled across the country in a van. Tensions flared up between the two of them when Gabby rigorously cleaned the van due to her OCD, and Brian didn't like that. The argument finally came to a head in Wyoming when he strangled her to death and just left her dead body there. He then drove to Florida, went into hiding, and shot himself. It's crazy how that was the biggest news story on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Does anybody believe the rumors that this will happen on Sunday? Like Taylor Swift really hates Donald Trump so much that she'll use her platform to spite him at the Super Bowl by endorsing Joe Biden for the 2024 presidential election, much to the dismay of white supremacists everywhere who were hoping that she would support conservatism? And then Travis Kelce proposing to her as the final cherry on top? Imagine if Taylor Swift were responsible for preventing another Trump presidency; she would be the greatest American hero in modern times.

I really hope that a bunch of old guys creeping on her isn't what caused her to stop posting on here. Did she just get bored and move on with her life? Or was it something that GameFAQs did that made her quit this place?
