An even dirtier meta would be looking at the game channel and guessing most scum are currently online, because iirc you cant be online in one server and offline in another. I dont see anything in the rules against looking into this, but it actually does break the game if people are smart enough to notice it. Just as a cautionary tale, there was a previous game where I neighbored Wallz and afterwards he started doubting my towniness for multiple reasons, but one of those being that I was always online on Discord. I was town, and my discord status just was showing green because I was playing games during the night and was still showing as active. Meta at your own risk with dumb stuff like this.
