I've had about a week to sit and think about the story since I've beaten the 2.2 content.

I've decided that the Penacony arc has definitely become my favorite arc in any RPG I've ever played. I think this recent segment had some weird fluff at the beginning that was a bit hard to sit through, but 2.0 was a 10/10, 2.1 was a 10/10, and 2.2 was at least an 8, probably a 9/10, and it stuck the landing so hard, it might as well have been a 10.

That final fight surpassed Cocolia as my favorite in the game, and Cocolia was already my favorite turn-based battle of all-time. I brought a horrible team to fight them and it took like a half hour, but I didn't care, because I was just smiling and bopping to the music the whole time. I left it on normal speed, which usually kills me in this game, but I just loved watching Caelus do his little Clockie jig every 3 turns, and all the voice lines whenever I used the support mechanic.

And the cutscenes both before and after made me tear up pretty good. It's hard to imagine this landing any harder for me, and I'm incredibly impressed with how this all turned out.

After the Luofu, I was kinda worried about the direction this game was going, but I certainly don't have any questions on that anymore!
